The King's Arms - Didmarton - Photo album

Second stay at the Kings Arms was just as fabulous as the last - the team was lovely and welcoming, the room was lovely with extra nice touch of ground coffee and fresh milk, and a wonderful evening meal - plus great breakfast. We felt very well looked after and look forward to our next visit
Stayed for one night and had dinner in the restaurant. The room was really clean and comfy. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. There was live music on which I couldn't hear in the room. Breakfast was excellent and all the staff were helpful and friendly.
The team were able to accommodate our early arrival which we were very grateful for. The environment was cosy - seemed to be a few different dining areas -and the food was very good and my daughter was delighted with the birthday candle that the staff had presented her dessert with (by prior arrange
Convenient location, great staff, no pub noise in the rooms. Fab breakfast, real fire in the evening, and they know how to make an Irish coffee. I don't like dogs in the rooms/restaurant but that's my preference.
We can't thank the King's Arms staff enough for making our father's memorial event such a special and beautiful occasion. Landlord and landlady Sam and Crystal were superb, paying attention to every detail, and welcoming all of our 39 guests with kindness and good humour. The chef prepared a delicio
Really lovely Sunday lunch. The best roasties, lovely veggie option, good portion size and great service from friendly staff. We will be back.
AmazIng visit. The staff are fantastic, very accommodating and kind. They offered us a lift to a wedding nearby instead of paying for a cab. The food was incredible, we had the battered haddock and chips & the steak. Both were stunning. Highly highly recommend!
The Kings Arms is both a hotel and a restaurant. We went to the restaurant twice. In the evening for dinner and the next day, in the afternoon for a pizza and drinks. The pizzas were very tasty and made in a wood-fired oven. The service was friendly and attentive, both times. When you eat outside (
Stayed for one night, excellent service & lovely clean, spacious room. The evening meal we had as well as breakfast were both lovely & well cooked. The location was a few miles from Tetbury where we were visiting, it had plenty of parking & a nice beer garden that we used in the evening. A lovely ol
My wife and I had a very good meal. The service was excellent and the menu choice was very different and interesting and all priced competitively. Food was cooked fresh and we were given plenty of time between courses. We highly recommend the restaurant
Had a brilliant 2 night stay. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Food was excellent. The atmosphere was warm, cosy and inviting, great garden area, and our room was lovely. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend!!
Had a lovely lunch after a 7 mile walk. Food quality was excellent as was the friendly and attentive service. Beer also well kept which is always a good sign!!
X6 of us for 3 nights. The whole team are so polite and helpful. Plenty of parking, lovely setting, very nice meals and breakfast. No hesitation to return here. Well done to the team.
We had a nice lunch, staff very helpful although did have to wait slightly for the drinks initially. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Using the Butcombe loyality card made it good value. Otherwise I felt some of the dishes were rather high eg fish and chips £18. But we have booked to go again.
Really nice decor. Friendly and helpful staff. They do pizzas in the summer. The pizzas’ quality seems to fluctuate. Sometimes it is absolutely delicious and comparable to proper pizzas you get in Italy. And sometimes it’s smaller, has less toppings, and has a soggy bottom. Food is usually pretty go
From the moment we stepped in, we were met with a warm, friendly greeting. We were looking for lunch in a country pub that was pooch-friendly & could not have been happier to have found the Kings Arms. The food was superb, speed of service first class (possibly the best we have seen for a long time)
Fabulous welcome, great helpfuul staff. Food was lovely, breakfast was awesome. Lovely atmosphere, super relaxing place, lovely rooms, great garden with plenty of seats and sun shades. Very dog friendly, nice field nearby for a walk too. Super impressed with the staff and premises. Loved it!
