Second stay at the Kings Arms was just as fabulous as the last - the team was lovely and welcoming, the room was lovely with extra nice touch of ground coffee and fresh milk, and a wonderful evening meal - plus great breakfast. We felt very well looked after and look forward to our next visit
Stayed for one night and had dinner in the restaurant. The room was really clean and comfy. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. There was live music on which I couldn't hear in the room. Breakfast was excellent and all the staff were helpful and friendly.

Convenient location, great staff, no pub noise in the rooms. Fab breakfast, real fire in the evening, and they know how to make an Irish coffee. I don't like dogs in the rooms/restaurant but that's my preference.

AmazIng visit. The staff are fantastic, very accommodating and kind. They offered us a lift to a wedding nearby instead of paying for a cab. The food was incredible, we had the battered haddock and chips & the steak. Both were stunning. Highly highly recommend!

Had a lovely lunch after a 7 mile walk. Food quality was excellent as was the friendly and attentive service. Beer also well kept which is always a good sign!!

made it good value. Otherwise I felt some of the dishes were rather high eg fish and chips £18. But we have booked to go again.

Sometimes it is absolutely delicious and comparable to proper pizzas you get in Italy. And sometimes it’s smaller, has less toppings, and has a soggy bottom. Food is usually pretty go
From the moment we stepped in, we were met with a warm, friendly greeting. We were looking for lunch in a country pub that was pooch-friendly & could not have been happier to have found the Kings Arms.
