Popped in for a pie & a pint after a day out in Bath...easily accessable across the road from the railway station with great food and beer and friendly and welcoming staff and locals
Just been for a taster of the new menu...all the favourites are still there but some really delicious new additions!!!
Lovely, friendly staff and they had a delicious vegan option which was a nice surprise.

OK pub, went for a bite to eat but kitchen had closed for evening so moved-on after a beer. Served a pint that was off, no problem getting replacement. Tables outside front could do with a bit of a spruce-up.
We love this place and it's always a very good experience. The food is outstanding and good value for money.
Drink had a good selection. Food was unusual - I had coleslaw in the actual burger between the buns... Made it very difficult to eat and I will say, mayo and beef doesn't really go! The other meal was fine and the staff were very pleasant. If I ever have a wait at the station will go back.
I visited this pub with friends, this was my first visit there on 16th August. I found the service good & the staff friendly,the pub was nice inside & comfortable too. The meal I ordered was excellent (BBQ chicken with chips). I would certainly use this pub again should I visit Didcot again in the future.
Very convenient location, across the road from the train station, decent beer and reasonably priced food.
I was there at lunchtime, so it was quiet, but the service was quick and friendly
I had a meal here with my family not too long ago. Our server, I think his name was Nathan, treated us with nothing but respect and kindness. I was so amazed at the service, truly incredible.

I dropped in for a couple while waiting for a train. It’s a nice pub, good real ale, good value. I didn’t eat but the menu looked appetising.
Right by the train station so ideal if you want a drink before or after your train. They have screens in the bar with the train times on so you won't miss your connection, ,but then you will have your phone for that right? Gets busy when the football is on as they have Sky and BT Sport. Does food and a cheap full English breakfast with a pint for under a fiver! Good selection of beers, cocktails are on offer from 5pm who h is what we found out when we came in for a drink. A pint, packet of crisps and x2 aperol spritz for under £15!
Popped in for a pint and a quick bite after work. Really welcoming environment, friendly staff, dog friendly which is lovely, good selection of food (apparently a new menu) and nice ale selection.
Came down Saturday night for the band who was absolutely amazing, great song dancing and brilliant atmosphere. Went with my mates and family the staff was welcoming and friendly would definitely come back again.
Been for quite a few meals to this pub. Food is always great and the staff are extremely helpful. Last time me and the wife went for a drink the barman, Nathan, went out of his way to help us. It’s service like this that keep us coming back. Been back a few more times since this review and still received great service, especially from Nathan.
Going back next week for the band great time last time there
Good staff and beer. Very well located next to Didcot Parkway train station. It is convinient if you have some time before taking your train.
