The Fat Frog - Didcot - Photo album

Very cosy and welcoming pub with excellent, Michelin star quality food! The chef and owner is very friendly and sources local produce. This is a little gem!
Great dinner. Outstanding homemade ox tail ravioli. We'll done guys!
I, the wife and kids all paid a visit to The Fat Frog In The Chequers on the day they had their first live music night with Lewis Clay (who was awesome by the way). We were up for the day and enjoyed ourselves so much that we stayed for both lunch and dinner. In the evening, we had the 6-course menu
Awesome food. Forget small portions it’s exquisite. I went with a colleague while we were on a business trip. Staff made us so welcome there was a couple of great beers on tap allowing a perusal of the cleverly constructed menu. I chose goats cheese and red pepper mousse followed by pan roasted ray
Lovely roasts for 4 ( beef and pork) all elements tasty and beautifully cooked.... friendly helpful staff...dog enjoyed the laid back atmosphere too 😊 Only little improvement would be the option of a hotter, drier type of horseradish to really offset the lovely beef but that is personal taste. Wo
A birthday lunch for my husband and I (we share the same day) We popped in on the off chance and were made to feel very welcome. Portion sizes were perfect, it enabled us to have a starter, main course and a decadent pudding. We shall definitely be going back, excellent food 😁😍 Dawn & Ian
This is an excellent place to visit, we meet up with friends, and although it was the first time we tried this establishment it was excellent, our friends rang in advance and asked if they could have a salmon dish made available for them to order on the night, could not of asked for more, Yes the
Reasonable price for good food.
Excellent little pub, food is amazing, I cant speak highly enough of it. The staff are all extremely friendly, and reall helpful. I love going here, and they have an excellent monthly quiz on Tuesdays. This is an extremely quaint, local country pub. A taste of classic britain.
Exquisite dining! Would thoroughly recommend. Attentive staff with a calibre of food that surpasses expectations. Very nice in the winter with the fire place and cosy interior. Great in the summer with the outdoor seating and treehouse for the kids to play in.
