We've been to the Heath about 5 times now and every meal has been cooked to perfection. The staff and service is really consistent. There is a real friendly atmosphere which makes your time spent at the Heath really special. Would highly recommend.
We booked a table for a 3 course meal on New Years Eve which was reasonably priced. We had a great time, which has now prompted us to defiantly book for Christmas Day this year!
Lovely food with a varied and interesting menu, in fact so good I took ages to decide what I wanted! Excellent service and great portion sizes. Thoroughly recommend.
Had a fantastic meal on Friday evening. The staff headed by Lauren were excellent. The food was absolutely gorgeous and very reasonable. I had the smothered platter was presented really well and tasted so good. Can not wait to go back. Blue light discount was an added bonus. Thank you to all at the Heath.

Me and some of my biker buddies stopped by The Heath on a Sunday after a ride.
We were specifically looking for a place in The New Forest that wasn't too expensive, and I'm so glad we decided to stop here.
The food here was brilliant, and I'll say the only issue I had (if you can even call it that) was the HUGE choice of food in their menu. From steaks, to pies, to full English breakfasts, to special lunch menus on specific days. There's so much to chose from from. I ended up getting a meat platter which came with a gammon steak, a small 4oz steak, chicken tenders and bacon along with some fries.
The service was brilliant. We were a party of 5 and we had to wait about 10 minutes for a table which wasn't an issue considering we hadn't booked. A member of staff cleared a table for us and we were on our way to ordering food.
Price wise, I spent roughly £20 which included a drink which was acceptable. It wad also considerably cheaper compared to other restaurants/pubs in the area.
We'll definitely be back! (We need to try out more of the menu!)
Really enjoyed my visit here, was in the area on business so it needed to be easy access with a decent sized car park! Lunch was super busy and I hadn't booked but they fitted me in. The staff were all really friendly and efficient. My food wasn't cooked right at first (think cos they were so busy) but it was swifly correct and they apologised whcib was really nice (rather than make me feel bad or an inconvenience!). If I lived in the area I would definitely return as my food was fabulous and great value. Highly recommended!
Went for some lunch when visiting my Brother who has just moved to the area. Sat outside. Quick service even though it seemed busy. Had a sharing platter, which tasted nice, plenty of it and was hot. Staff were friendly and welcoming
We ate on the bar side, due to the restaurant side being busy. The food was good and came out in a reasonable time. The only gripe was the parking spaces were not very big. They're ok if you have a small car, but my truck stuck out by about 3 feet. Luckily it wasn't too busy. Wouldn't deter me from going there again though.
Come here with my mum. The food is classic pub grub with good value daytime options. The service is always friendly and polite. Just with there was more vegetarian options. But otherwise a good place for reasonably priced reliable meals .

Can’t fault the food or service. Didn’t have to wait long.
It’s easy to get to and has a large car park next to it.
Right opposite the New Forest where you can burn off all the calories you have just eaten.
I would recommend it as a visitor to the area and you may have to book in the busier period’s.
Super-friendly & helpful staff. The food & drink was standard pub fare, but done well. Real shame that Whitbread has decided no dogs in any of the areas inside (doesn't have to be the whole place, Whitbread!), which means it's unlikely we'll be back after a walk again: lucky it was a warm dry evening this time.

I have had several meals with family members and friends at The Heath and we regard these events as a Treat.
The Heath has its own free car park and it's an easy place to find.
Right on the edge of The New Forest.
The menu is varied and always very well prepared and served.
I thoroughly recommend this venue.
Tried this place yesterday for lunch. Kids meals are really great value . 2 adult meals for £11.50 ..good choices. Very busy but not overly long wait. Will be happy to return.
Overall a good meal out for five of us, great burger, good vegetarian dish and starter. 2 mixed grills had overdone steaks (Not surprising as they are small for a mixed grill) and too much gristle to enjoy. 2 of the five dessert menus had alternative desserts which weren't available. Sticky toffee pudding was nice but came with custard and not icecream as on the menu.

Went there last night (25.9.20) still great and careful to do the social distancing thing. Had the Tandoori mixed grill -brilliant!

11.12.22 nice Christmas menu. Had a nice roast turkey and amazing toasties!
