A lovely little pub with canal side setting outdoors. If you're traveling by canal boat you can moor for free for 24h... Sunday lunches are £16 and VERY delicious! Staff warm and friendly. A brilliant little pub!
Lovely food and a great stop over whilst narrow boating on the Kennet & Avon canal.
Sunday dinner all fresh cooked vegetables. Lamb lovely. Steak and ale suet pie 🥧 delicious too. Will be back . Great canal side location
Beautiful place! Sat out by the canal, so peaceful and tranquil...AND a gorgeous pint of Waddies, Henry's IPA!
Lovely afternoon drinks sitting outside along the canal side, staff very friendly and helpful with knowledge around and about the area.
Would recommend this pub for the fine selection of beers and superb menu. We visited as a party of 4 and had a truly stunning meal. Will definitely be returning.
Disappointing! If there was a school report for this place I'd have to give it a B+, could do better. It's in the perfect place right beside the Kennet & Avon canal, but it seemed lacking somehow. The menu choice while acceptable for a carnivore/omnivore was a bit lacking for a vegetarian/vegan, plu
Just popped in, not disappointed. Real Home made steak and ale pie. One of the best pies I have had, meat was so tender, suet crust pastry too. Large portions. Right on the Avon and Kennet canal.
Ate outside looking at the canal. Service was polite, friendly and fast. Food was served up quickly and was hot tasty and fresh. This is also a dog friendly pub with water bowls and water supplied for them. There is a good sized car park aswell
We saw this place a few weeks ago but didn't have time to visit then. So yesterday we parked at The Locks walked up the canal to the pub and has a wonderful meal there. The pub was beautifully decorated and spotless. There are lovley views of the Kennet and Avon canal with a very nice outside beer
Lovely relaxing place to have a chat and drink with friends. The only thing that they only accept credit cards no cash.
A beautiful pub, on the canal stunning views. Food was lovely would of scores 5 stars but fish batter was very greasy. Fish was delicious. The Sri Lankan curry was very nice. Pudding was stunning a zingy lemon cheesecake & ice cream, but the highlight was the chocolate brownie with honeycomb ice cre
Had a lovely meal there with friends and a beautiful location
Very nicely located pub near the canal. The food was very good but it took a while to get there but maybe because it was quite busy we.
On the Casque-Mark Ale Trail. Limited offerings, but what was there was in excellent condition. Very large outdoor area with a view, although not taken advantage of this visit, when the weather is nice, I'll bet it is very popular.
Friendly staff, great food, & fab portion sizes for hungry walkers! Really nice seat canalside, would absolutely visit again!
Food nice, location perfect for sitting and watching the canal boats go by, dog friendly which was good 👍 get the sense your short staffed, the two girls you had on doing all the work were great, running about doing everything.. putting up with a difficult group of 21 OAPs who were not making there
Lovely pub on the side of the canal. Staff were great, also dog friendly. Didn't have time for food, but it looked lovely
