Fantastic pub with great food, quality beer and first class service. Catered for around 40 people at a private function, all of the party gave a glowing report on the quality of food, size of portions and service levels. Would definitely recommend visiting Michael, Margaret and the rest of the wonderful staff at the Blue Bell.

Stopped for tea...all ended up having pizza...a bit pricey but you get what you pay for as the food was delicious and the staff are great..even had drinks brought to the table x
Have eaten here several times, quality beer and I have to say the fish and chips was to die for. Will certainly be going back SOON! Cannot wait to return. Simply amazing.
Fab food amazing staff it's my local would highly recommend it had a fab New Year's Eve 2016 and all that goes in there really make you welcome go and try for your self enjoy
Fantastic refurbishment! The food is top class and very well priced! The new pizza menu is excellent, all hand made by the chef! 10 out of 10 for me.
Michael and the staff do a fab job, BUT the only thing that spoilt it for me were the amount of people that walked passed from the other room whilst I was eating. Otherwise fab night had by all

My friend and I visited after being tempted by the menu for weeks and we had a wonderful experience. The menu was varied but not too overwhelming as sometimes restaurants can have too many choices! We loved the wide selection of burgers, pizzas, loaded fries and small plates too. I ordered ‘The New Yorker’ burger and my friend ordered ‘The Fajita’ burger. The burgers arrived and we were absolutely delighted with the portion size, presentation and selection of food. Admiring the skin-on fries and crispy onion rings, we dug in and adored the flavours of the burgers. They were second to none. I felt that I could taste the quality of the food, which was a real positive. Importantly, the service was also brilliant. Michael was lovely, welcoming and attentive. After we ate, we chatted for a while and enjoyed the atmosphere of the pub! Overall, we had a really positive experience and we will 100% return! Thank you all!

We affectionately know this as George's pub due to the friendly welcome from the pub pooch! :) A good village local. Normally stop by for a bite to eat and the food is always fabulous. Regular features Everard's Tiger and Beacon on cask alongside a guest beer - all 3 are highly recommended :)
Today was our first visit as a family to this lovely and welcoming pub. It was busy but still operated very smoothly. Staff were a credit to the pub, everybody was very polite and helpful. I think the owners of the pub were also dining close by and they ensured all our dining needs were met and they had kind words to say about our one year old son who also enjoyed the food. You could really tell this was a family friendly pub with great food all fresh and perfect. Such a lovely meal despite not being from this side of town we will definitely be visiting again, thank you for a fantastic experience.
Just love this little pub. It has such a chilled vibe inside and is child friendly. The staff are super lovely, the dog George is a beauty and most importantly the pizzas are bloody delicious!! Love love love the Diavollo which is my fav! Started coming here often because of the food. It’s piping hot, tasty and good portion sizes/varied menu! Thanks for a fab service.
We had Sunday lunch here. The restaurant does not seem to be a priority and we had to wait long periods to be served and to pay the bill. That said, the food was excellent and plentiful. The side of cauliflower cheese actually had some cheese in it. If they put a bell on the bar to get attention of the staff this would have been a 5 star review.
Really enjoyed our visit, reviewing the restaurant not the rooms. Plenty of parking, staff were very sweet and chatty and the food was reasonably price. Hand cut real chips and large piece of fish. It's casual dining compared to the previous owners but feels warm inside and I love that you can take dogs inside too. We will be back :)

Friendly pub with some great food. Sunday lunch was excellent, with free extra roast potatoes and veggies. Worth booking online during busy periods.
Lovely place, great food. At time of booking very friendly even catering for one of us with a food allergy. 10 of us ate, all different dishes and food came quickly with great service. Sat in the snug which was dog friendly so brought our 2 dogs along too. Going to move into the area so will definitely come back as regulars.
6 of us booked for Sunday Lunch, it was delicious, only one tiny hiccup, not enough veg, but as soon as we pointed it out another bowl was swiftly brought, best roast in the area and the value for money is much better than the other pub in the area.
The food was good and the staff are really friendly and helpful, we had a lovely evening. Our waitress, Sophie, was great....so was the other waitress, but I didn't get her name. Can recommend the sundaes!
