My friend and I visited after being tempted by the menu for weeks and we had a wonderful experience. The menu was varied but not too overwhelming as sometimes restaurants can have too many choices! We loved the wide selection of burgers, pizzas, loaded fries and small plates too. I ordered ‘The New

We had Sunday lunch - recommend that you book as it was very busy - food was tasty, quick service, reasonably priced.
Always had a good service here, dog friendly. The pub dog comes and sits next to you :)
We affectionately know this as George's pub due to the friendly welcome from the pub pooch! :) A good village local. Normally stop by for a bite to eat and the food is always fabulous. Regular features Everard's Tiger and Beacon on cask alongside a guest beer - all 3 are highly recommended :)
Today was our first visit as a family to this lovely and welcoming pub. It was busy but still operated very smoothly. Staff were a credit to the pub, everybody was very polite and helpful. I think the owners of the pub were also dining close by and they ensured all our dining needs were met and they

6 of us booked for Sunday Lunch, it was delicious, only one tiny hiccup, not enough veg, but as soon as we pointed it out another bowl was swiftly brought, best roast in the area and the value for money is much better than the other pub in the area.
The food was good and the staff are really friendly and helpful, we had a lovely evening. Our waitress, Sophie, was great....so was the other waitress, but I didn't get her name. Can recommend the sundaes!
