What a wonderful, gem, of a restaurant. First time visiting this evening and we were not disappointed. An excellent set menu was offered together with a full menu and wine list at excellent prices. The food was superb, service was quick and friendly with a lovely atmosphere. I would definitely visit again and would highly recommend.
Very very delicious food. The best Italian food in East Midlands (believe me, I have been many times in Italia,I know the taste of proper Italian food). Very cosy atmosphere,good and professional staff.
Absolutely amazing meal for 4. Excellent wine selection at very good prices. Every course was superb and presented beautifully. Staff were amazing and attentive throughout. Really lucky to have such a quality Italian restaurant so close to home.
My partner mentioned this restaurant as she had heard good things and it peaked my interest.
I have been to a few Italian restaurants that boast an authentic menu and it all seems to be very generic but always nice to give a local restaurant a chance
And I'm happy I did, locally this is hands down the best Italian restaurant there is and probably further.
For once an authentic menu was exactly that, the food was fresh and wad full of flavour.
Staff where very helpful and attentive and the atmosphere was perfect.
This has become one of my favourite restaurants instantly and I am sure I will return here time after time to eat
Absolutely lovely experience! The food is 10/10 - if you’re wondering if you should go, if it’s too pricey etc. trust me, it’s not. Alex and staff made us feel very welcome, with excellent service and honestly great food.
The server was very nice and food was well priced. The restaurant was very beautiful and easy to find, also the bonus of having parking. I had a pesto mushroom pasta which was creamy and not oily like most pesto pastas. They gave us a starter which was a bread like piece with an onion tomato sauce to dip. I would definitely recommend coming here.
First off, the service here is exceptional. White glove, friendly and attentive (5/5) The food is definitely authentic Italian cooking, my only gripe was with the chocolate cake and cannoli both with excessive amounts of orange zest (which wasn't mentioned on the menu) which the kids didn't enjoy. Still a great place to enjoy proper Italian cuisine.
Just had a superb lunch here. Highly recommended. We were warmly welcomed and service throughout was first class. Excellent menu, plenty of choice. The food was excellent. Will definitely be going there again. Best Italian restaurant for miles.

Such a lovely place, Nice staff, Very clean, super efficient service, perfect authentic italian food. All for £12 for a 4 course meal.
I will definitely recommend this to a friend's and family. Don't always leave reviews but really wanted to after the experience I had. Ps the macchiato was perfect. Will visit again soon.
A first visit to this lovely little place. We reserved a table before going but it's obvious a popular place as it was full. We had the set lunchtime menu, and for £12 it's fantastic. It was 4 course too. All the food was lovely, the minestrone soup was delicious 😋. We'll definitely be returning to this wonderful, spotlessly clean, well decorated little place. The staff were lovely and accommodating too.

One of the best Italian food I’ve had in England. Reasonable prices and authentic taste that makes you feel you’re in Italy!
Went for the set lunch menu £12 for four courses and was so impressed not only by the quality but also quality of food. Everything was delicious and felt both fresh and hearty. Would definitely recommend and will be coming again. Worth the short trip out of town! Staff were also lovely.
Just had the lunch menu and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Went with 2 friends one of whom had 3 courses of the main menu. Again she was delighted with the service and food. The presentation is excellent.

Had the four course lunch and was very impressed with the quality and such friendly owners. The food was extremely delicious and four courses for £12 it was large portions and all freshly made, tasty and I can highly recommend.

Love this place. The food is lovely and Lilia is fab at serving with her white gloves on. Very attentive but not obtrusive service. The restaurant and toilets are spotless. Very popular so good to book ahead. 4 courses for £11.99 is amazing these days. Can totally recommend the breadsticks, minestrone soup and the tiramisu. Fab!
