The front of house lady was really nice and welcoming, she was happy to chat to us about the menu, and was a pleasure to talk to.

Superb food! Burgers are messy and massive, just as they should be.😉 There is a great outdoor eating area which is perfect for when we bring the dog for a walk in the area and want to stop for a bite afterwards. If eating outside table service can be a bit slow so sometimes it's best to grab a menu
Great evening in The Embankment. Quick & friendly service. So welcoming and couldn't do more for us. We ordered last minute and had a lovely meal and drinks. Staff are fab!!!! Music can sometimes be overbearing but service makes up for it ☺️

Food was of a good standard, what let the service down, I ordered a starter that didn't come. I was advised that the chowder I ordered was not on today, why did I have to wait until my main meal to be told that ??, I would have ordered something else
It is a very nice place, the food is very good & the staff are rather friendly. Reasonably priced as well. Will return someday!
I recently had a baby shower for my daughter in-law at the embankment couldn’t praise the staff enough there were so helpful and pleasant nothing was a bother to them from start to finish the food was great the atmosphere was great brilliant day!

This bar is small on the inside but has tables outside and in a roofed enclosed garden area to it also you receive table service for food and drinks if u wish the staff are friendly and will have a laugh with you it also has live music every weekend outside
Not overly busy when we were in but still a nice vibe, staff were fantastic, great fun and attentive
Fish was lovely but pasta dish was a bit overdone definitely not al dente
