One of three Mc Donald's branches in Derry, the Strand Road is a busy but accessible drive thru with adequate parking. Due to dual lanes on the Strand Road itself, you can really only access the turn for here when driving towards the city centre. It had a revamp relatively recently so it's clean and bright. Usually efficient but can be a bit slower at peak times, naturally. A new queueing system for cars was introduced during Covid pandemic in through a neighbouring hard stand but its roped off to regulate queueing.

Young service worker was very customer service oriented. Clean. Priced right. Young service worker took picture of family....so lovely.

Food was hot and tasty , friendly staff, & order got mixed up and was given free fries as apology without asking , good experience

Its a McD's what more is there to say!! Really busy most of the time but plenty of staff on to allow for this, place was clean and tidy

Everything is fantastic sadly I wouldn't recommend the veggie burger as it tastes like wood

Just your standard McD's. Usuall range of food and drink. Staff are friendly, cheerful and service is quick.

Tried ordering on the app. Never works properly in this store for some reason.. Therefore missing out on my points. No ketchup in dispenser.

This Mc branch is very clean and tidy. Very student friendly. The food was always good, perfectly warm and crispy. Thier limited edition caramel waffle latte is a must try. This branch also has an AED defibrillator, in case of emergencies!

Drive through is brilliant and you never waited too long for food.. staff always welcoming and friendly. At night I call for a coffee and very reasonable and nice quality..

There is always a problem with ordering. It happened to me on multiple days with different employees. For example, I tell them: I want a "kids meal" consisting of French fries with fish fingers and a drink. And I add a note: I want the meal with the amount of fried potatoes to be double | Two small bags of potatoes | Is this hard to understand please!? I go to the accounting department and receive the order, I find that there are two meals...or two glasses of Coke, or I find fish fingers without french fries.. Why are your employees unwilling to understand a customer's demand "off your list"? Any order that is not on your list (double the quantity, for example, you will surely find an error!!!) Can you tell them to get ready to hear requests that may be different from the list? I am not saying I want a Freeze or a XXXXL shirt.. Of course I will only order what is you available , but sometimes we may ask for a double quantity for example, or cancel of the meal we do not like and order another, and so on..
