Been here several times for food. The quality of food and service from staff speaks for itself, the scenery is another aspect to experience. I would highly recommend dinning here.

Husband had the steak ciabatta and he said it was one of the best steaks he’s ever had. It was very juicy and soft. Lovely.

Lovely spot to eat after a day on the beach. No take outs and you have to ring to book a table or you will be turned away. Food was very nice, very busy restaurant. Got some of our order wrong but can understand it as the staff are rushed off their feet. Friendly staff. A bit pricey but will definitely return when we're down again. 🤤👍

Really lovely dinner and arranged at very short notice. We had the dog with us so ate in the bar (about four tables available for that). Restaurant was crowded, boisterous and the atmosphere was great. Even in the cold weather (July !!!) there were diners willing to eat outside. Good, varied menu and attentive service. A real find, with good walks from the door.

Excellent food and drink at this pub/restaurant. Have a walk on the beach beforehand, the historical Martello tower. We sat in the bar area for Saturday lunch. Staff were attentive and friendly. Food was delicious and the Guinness was great!

Had a really good meal, steak was exceptional, Guinness was excellent. The service could have been a little better, but it was quite late on a Sunday evening, it was good of them to take the booking. It's little things, like the pepper sauce arriving 5 minutes after the steaks and we ordered a second pint of Guinness which never appeared. Nothing major but it spoiled an otherwise perfect meal.

One of my favourite restaurants. Really relaxed, family orientated and excellent quality food. Can be busy over the summer with the ferry coming over. Love it in the winter when the fire is blazing to enjoy an Irish Coffee after dinner. Large menu to choose from, never had a bad meal and we eat here alot.

An adorably quaint little place with some beautiful views, even if the weather isn't perfect. The service is very friendly and welcoming, and the food sublime! Well worth a visit and I will absolutely be back!

Arrived without a reservation and it wasn’t a problem for a party of 5. Drinks were quick and so was the food. It was hot and full of flavour and that was the 3 dishes. We had a chilli pasta dish, chicken goujons and a chicken stack. As said all 3 were hot temperature wise and loads of flavour. Portion size was bigger than we were expecting. Servers were very nice and efficient and were very welcoming on arrival and throughout our stay. There is appears to be more seats and tables to parking outside. But don’t let that put you off, it’s an illusion. Tables are small but well spaced out. So if you have any difficulties with movement, you will be fine. Only reason for not 5 stars, we were shown to a table more suited to 4 people, but we made it work. Would I eat there again? Yes I would

Had an amazing dinner there... The place is magical at night you can see all the little lights from the other side of the water. The dinner was phenomenal. I ordered guiness pie and mashed potatoes. Let me tell you I am not a fan of mashed potatoes but those were delicious. The restaurant is quite big and the waiters were very kind to us. If I ever come back to that area of northern ireland I will definitely include this restaurant. There is free parking outside and the food price is average.

Clean comfortable with a great view. Food was very good and great value. Service was a bit slow but they were busy and the staff were still good humoured and helpful. Would certainly go back.

We had a family birthday and were looking for a local place to drop in for a meal. Another nearby bar restaurant was full, and we managed to get a space at The poInt bar, which was really busy as well. We were able to have drinks in the bar until our table was ready, and the Guinness was fantastic, so different when actually consumed on the Island of Ireland! We ordered a few chowders, a cod, and a burger, and all were really good, but the chowder not as good as it should be really, too thin. Altogether a good experience, good atmosphere and well looked after by staff. Thank you.

We arrived on Saturday evening but hadn't booked. The manager was lovely and said he would do his best to get us a table as soon as possible. We only had to wait a few minutes. The food was lovely, and the atmosphere was cosy. Will definitely go back. Julie & Stephen.

My review is somewhat different. I parked my motorhome outside, got out it, & managed to lock myself out with the keys in the ignition. Went into the restaurant & explained my problem. What a reaction, everyone, customers and staff immediately got involved, people ringing locksmiths etc. One of the staff climbed up on the roof, managed to open an impossibly small skylight & then unscrewed it, removed it, & climbed in! the hole was extremely small. He got my keys out of the ignition, returned them to me & then refitted the skylight; amazing. He wouldn't accept any reward from me for all his efforts on my behalf. All I can say, once again, thank you very much for what you did for me. The reaction of all of the staff & customers was amazing & I am humbled by the experience. I won't forget my visit to the Point Bar in Magilligan for a long time. Derek Moffitt
