Wonder Sunday dinner, Beef melted in your mouth plenty of veg . Oh don't forget pudding, toffee apple crumble & custard. Going again on Tuesday, cannot wait to see what's on the menu.
Friendly local pub serving good food. The Hopback Summer Lightening was well kept and went down a treat.
Old fashioned country pub. Sunday lunch lovely all home cooked. Couldn't fault it. Service very good!

Based upon other reviews went to eat at the Angel. Welcomed by bar staff and locals, had good beer and excellent good inexpensive food. I had homemade chilli and my wife had the chicken curry both were very tasty. Not a large choice but good food does not have to be expensive! Would visit again.
A brilliant, family pub meal that won’t break the bank. Not pretentious by any means, not haute cuisine, but the food was great and the prices even better - 4 adults, one toddler, bottle of wine, two beers, kids drinks, 5 mains and deserts - £100! You can’t say fairer than that
OK so it's not got a 5 star restruant. The decor is not shiny and new, but this place has atmosphere,lots of it. It has what is missing from so many pubs nowadays. It is a proper English pub. The food is good. The staff are very friendly. It's not glitzy or expensive. But it's what Norfolk pubs used

ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE food was out of this world, we came across this pub while on holiday, couldnt fault anything atmosphere was brilliant, the staff went out there way to look after us, would highly recemmend anyone coming here for a lovely sunday roast dinner.
The Angel is a proper drinkers pub and traditional in ways that many establishments have lost over the years. There are always friendly staff and a good crowd of locals. The selection of beers is pretty good and although I have not eaten there yet it looks very popular especially Sunday lunchtimes.

Very traditional pub. Cosy and relaxed bar with a real fire. great choice of ales with some that are constantly changed. A small menu of well cooked and great value pub food available.
Beautiful classic style pub, lovely staff. prepared a chicken burger sandwich at late asking was truly delicious. Nice pool room. not changed in over 20 yrs in a good way.
Great country pub we stubbled upon, , the food was tradition pub fare but beautifully cooked with decent helpings, a good range of ales and the locals at the bar were good company.
