This is the worst Chinese meal I have ever had. The chef needs to learn to cook. I will never use you again
Been ordering from here for years, delivery is always quicker than the expected time shown on Just Eat, have tried other places when this one is closed but nothing comes close, the portion sizes are massive and cheaper compared to other Chinese restaurants. Even had my family that live up north try it when they come to visit and they agree it's the best Chinese they've ever had! Would recommend to anyone and everyone!
We used to use this takeaway 40 years ago before we were married. The food then was always the best in the area.
Having just moved back to Spondon we thought we would give it another go. We had Singapore chow mein, chilli chips and Yuk sung chicken with cashews.
The food was amazing so fresh and tasty and delivered within 30 minutes. Don't know if it's still the same owners,but we will definitely go back for more
I use this takeaway all the time via Just Eat and the delivery is fast, staff are friendly, food is hot and really good tasting. When the Just Eat app was down I rang them as the lady on the phone was really polite too, and quite possible the only local takeaway that is open on a Monday! Overall a very good Chinese takeaway!
Myself and my family have chosen recently to order from here during Lock down and we've ordered repeatedly as the food is absolutely up to standard, fresh and tasty. The customer service is also a friendly one who commicate with a happy attitude. Well done Oriental Chef, you deserve recognition and I will continue to spread the word about your fantastic Chinese.
First timer as our normal Chinese was closed seen they had good reviews thought we would have ago, overall was nice salt and chilli chips and chicken chow mein was very nice, curry sauce was so nice good. Defo a good runner up to our normal place
Great food here live in oakwood but go here as topchef curry you could paste wallpaper with it that thick so worth travelling over for proper curry :)
Ordered food online but stuck in traffic. They called drives to bring food back and remade it for me fresh when I got home! Amazing customer service and food top quality too. Thanks guys 👍
We had a takeaway on Monday 31 March 2014, the food and service were excellent. We only found them as they are one of the few local Chinese restaurants that opens on a Monday night. What a fortuitous find ....... great food and service, thank you.
Always order from here as the food is delicious, never had a bad meal yet! The elderly delivery man is also an absolute sweetheart.
Great Chinese take away. We used to live in oakwood, now in mickleover. We still prefer to travel back and go here rather than somewhere local. I highly recommend.
Coming to Spondon from the centre of Derby just for this restaurant! :) Very delicious food, wide range of different food. The staff is always very kind to recommend new food.
Good food, not too greasy and full of flavour. Good portions and reasonably priced.
Our regular local takeaway. Great food and service, can sometimes be tricky to order via JustEat but easy to order over the phone etc.
