Lovely restaurant in a really lovely setting. I had the salmon which was delightful. The custard tart was just average though, with the rhubarb ice cream not really working. They need a better selection of desserts.
Excellent food, lovely atmosphere, the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Not sure on the choice of music for a Sunday lunchtime! (The mushroom soup was astoundingly good.)
The service was friendly and light hearted. The coffee was absolutely spectacular. The cakes were succulent and moist. The brie, grape and chutney panini was incredible. But the best of all? The water was supreme. Just cold enough, with the perfect amount of ice. Top tier aqua.

Firstly Lovely hidden gem..! Set just off the river bank..lovely outdoor seating for warmer days..kept the old cotton works look as it was ..rustic yet very cosy ..cracking ladies bar & table staff..the coffee is to die for ..absolutely beautiful..I.m a coffee lover & this is up there in my top 2 !
A pleasurable cafe to visit, lovely warm welcome in an atmospheric building. The food is freshly prepared and great wines on offer, thoroughly recommend the Pinot Noir. Definitely returning a.s.a.p.

Cosy, welcoming and warm, apart from the lovely menu and delicious food (and they cater for vegans!) The service is excellent, the chef is excellent and the ambiance wonderful. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fabulous and cosy place with honestly pleasant and friendly people from the staff. Food was perfectly cooked. Coffee there is a brilliant, can’t describe in words. Would definitely recommend to others.
