AmaZing chips, genuinely well cooked and fresh. Kind and helpful owners. All negative reviews are from 5years ago. The current management know their stuff and are bang on. Large chips will feed four people

I've lived in the village for around 5 years and have been a regular user of the fish bar.
90% of the time the food is great, but occasionally issues occur. Mostly this seemed to be down to inexperienced staff. Recently this seems to have improved ad I haven't had any cause for complaint and I am happy to recommend them again to friends.
I have had loads of good reviews about this chip shop and I ordered food for a party and everything we ordered tasted lovely. We were treated very well and I regularly go there now as the food is without a doubt the best I have ever tasted!!
Excellent fish and chips: fresh fish, generous size, cooked fresh to order. Guy behind me ordered a kebab: it looked pretty good too and I'll be trying that next time

Always great food served here. The new additions to the menu are spot on, really tasty. Staff and service is always excellent.
Had pizza and kebabs in there. So far so good. Only once had some chips in need of a little more time in the fryer, other than rest had lovely pizza with the changes I asked for and the kebab was good as well
From being picked up from EMA we called for fish & chips we ordered 2 fish & chips & 2 fish waited possibly 20-30 mins sat in car to eat them because off the waiting time they gave us a extra portion off chips , we’ve have had good f/chips but I must say they will take some beating the was excellent, will be calling again WELL DONE 😋
Good pleasant service, uniform looked fairy grubby ( was end of shift ,) but overall nice food especially size of haddock fish as massive & meal in itself but unfortunately not much taste.
