Best Takeaway in Derby, fullstop! I highly recommend the House Platter, Salt and Pepper Chicken, Shredded Beef or Chicken Chow Mein dishes. Not too greasy and great service as always.
For online orders they're moving back to using their old website, which isn't currently listed on Google, but it's printed on their menu, or you can ring them for info.
Otherwise it's cash only in the shop.
Friendly and fast service. Food is always hot and tasty. Lots of interesting veggie options as well usual meat and prawns. It's cheaper to order from them directly.
Tried a few chinese takeaways around the area and Sun Waa is our go to place now. Not the cheapest but well worth it. Might take a while to get your food though during busy days but this is a good thing, shows they are busy. Recommended.

The best chinese takeaway around our area. We go every week. Always hot, delicious and good sized portions. Prices are average for a decent takeaway. Usually takes about 15 minutes for it to be ready for us to collect. Staff are lovely, helpful and polite. Definitely recommend. Only downside is they only take cash - no card payments but otherwise no issues what so ever.
Just had our first order from them. We had chicken chow mein and it was really nice and the mock seaweed was amazing. The delivery to Mackworth was 20 minutes. I'm impressed with them and will definitely order from them again.

These guys are amazing, the food is always really hot, tasty and on time (if not early!). If its just us or friends (pre-lockdown) everyone is always really impressed. Good quality and reasonable prices with great delivery. Please use them! They are great. (P.S. I don't know them at all in case you were wondering).
Really tasty. Expensive, but we go here for a special treat, plenty of meat free options and friendly staff
First time I have used them, ordered on line had a large order as for a party, asked for 6.45 delivery . Food arrived on time piping hot and everything was so tasty, the only thing left on our table was a few chips.

UPDATE - my wife's food was incorrectly supplied as a chow mein with egg rather than without (she doesn't eat egg). A call to Sun Waa to report the issue and 20 mins later the correct dish was delivered to our door, no extra charge. Absolutely top class customer service, have been coming here for years and will continue to do so!!
Nice food from here, even though there are a few closer to home - the salt & pepper squid and twice-cooked pork are a must

Some really nice dishes! The salt and pepper tofu was excellent! Would of been 5 star but I think just slightly on the pricey side.
