I turned up whilst hiking on a Sunday late afternoon so had made no booking. With the gorgeous sunny weather, the pub was very busy however there was still plenty of seating available. I ordered a roast chicken sandwich which came with a side of roast potatoes and gravy, great sized portion for the price and left me feeling pretty full! Definitely want to return now to try the full roast dinner!

Lovely home made food in a small quaint inn at reasonable prices. The service by Harry was to be commended. I will visit again as the atmosphere, food and drink was great. There is free WiFi and they serve just coffee if you wish. Keep up the good work guys

The White Hart Pub is a traditional pub located in the village of Stanley, Derbyshire, England. The pub offers a range of food and drink options, including traditional pub fare and a selection of local beers and ales. Overall, The White Hart Pub has received positive reviews from customers for its friendly atmosphere, good service, and excellent food. Many customers have praised the quality of the meals, with a particular emphasis on the Sunday roast, which is said to be one of the best in the area. The staff at The White Hart Pub are described as welcoming and attentive, with many customers commenting on their friendliness and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure a positive experience. The pub itself has a traditional and cozy feel, with an open fire and comfortable seating areas. The outdoor seating area is also popular with customers during the warmer months. The only potential downsides is that it doesnt open until 4pm. If it opened an hour earlier they might receive trade from parents on the way back from the school run. Also, it can become busy, particularly during peak times, and it may be necessary to book in advance to ensure a table. However, this is a testament to the popularity of the pub and the quality of the service it provides. Overall, The White Hart Pub is a well-regarded establishment in the local area, offering good food, excellent service, and a friendly atmosphere. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit.

We visited today for Mothers day lunch, the pub was lovely, staff friendly and the food was excellent. My grandson is a 'picky' eater and declared The white Hart burger to be the best he's had so if he's happy we certainly are! Will definitely be visiting again

Wonderful little country pub full of character and a great atmosphere whatever the season! The new owners have invested heavily, which has completely transformed the pub inside and out! I was very pleased with the addition of a new beer garden for the summer with plenty of food options for you to choose from. Overall, it's been a well needed breath of fresh air for the village locals and new customers to enjoy! Can't wait to return this spring after enjoying some wonderful cosy evenings there this winter :)
