Cafe Vero, within the Birds premises, is a lovely, airy and casual cafe with table service offering many of tasty Bird's goodies, both sweet and savoury. The lady who served us was polite and happy. The food and drinks were hot and delicious. Prices are very reasonable for a city centre cafe. I would recommend Cafe Vero for a quick bite or a pit stop whilst out shopping.
Birds is unique. The food is always fresh and perfect in a way that only birds can do. Even sausages, pork crackling and pasties seem healthy here. Cakes are out there.
Nice cafe. Very reasonable. Some staff are a bit off and not overly forthcoming in helping you or responding to questions. Food good but then Birds food always is.
Birds of Derby is local confectioner of premier quality. Their stores are always kept immaculately clean and the bread, cakes, pies and meats are of the highest standard. Their cafè business reflects this in its level of service and product.
Birds is pretty darn flawless. Highlights for me are the fresh sausage cobs, apple sauce and stuffing, pork pies and the caramel doughnuts are unsurpassed in my experience.
Great location, well organised and clean tables. Good value and nice snacks. Great for a quick meal and a cup of tea.
Birds cake shops are just amazing. The quality and freshness of their cakes&breads is 1st class.
