Oast House has been on our "Places to Eat Yet" for a long time and we finally got to be there for a quiet Sunday dinner. The rustic pub look gives a warm ambience with ample seating.
Once we glance through the menu, we order the Classic Beef Lasagne and the Beer Battered Haddock & Chips.
The food is quick to arrive and served while being hot. The perfect crispy fish goes perfectly well with the chips, mushy peas and tartare sauce.
The cheesy layer adorning layers of the pasta and sauce gives a delicious spark for every bite. The salad and garlic bread accompanies to balance the lasagne.
Overall, it's an amazing place with delicious food.
Had a lovely meal with family for my sons birthday. And the staff were all so kind & nothing was to much. Our waitress Tasha was really lovely and brought my sons cake to the table & made sure we was all alright. Would definitely go again. Thank you Tasha & staff for a lovely time x
Lovely evening. Emma looked after us very well. She dealt diplomatically with another customer who hadn't read the menu properly. She was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

Karen, Emma and Charlie were our waitresses today and as usual the service and food were impeccable. I come here weekly for breakfast whenever I can. The staff here are always friendly, warm, welcoming and accommodating! The value is amazing (9.99 for unlimited breakfast and kids eat free). We love coming and are always treated like family. It was my sisters birthday today and there was a card and little present left on the table for her.
Nothing is too much trouble and we love it here.
Quick and convenient place to eat, lots of food options, chicken and mushroom pie was good the saucy chicken was a little chewy, kids variety was good a 3 course meal. A good drinks selection and they show the football. There some seating to drink and eat outside and a separate eating area for families.
We had a delicious birthday breakfast cooked to order. Our server was Tasha and she was so helpful. She even presented me with a birthday drink. There was also gluten free toast and muesli and soya milk available when we asked. We will be back.

Our waitress Tasha went above and beyond. Unfortunately when my meal was delivered it had a hair sitting on my egg, we discretely called our waitress over and her response was perfect... apologies (and its just one of those things that happen) immediately, plate whisked away, pops back and apologises again we're so sorry kitchen are re-cooking your meal and I will bring it as soon as I can... my father whispered they're probably just going to whip the egg off and cook you a fresh one... which actually would have been fine as that's all it was touching... a little bit of a wait and a completely fresh meal was popped in front of me... beautifully cooked and presented, steaming hot... and we're advised that the meal will be comped...
I trained as a waitress in the late 80's and that was the industry standard, if there is an issue with the meal it should be replaced and comped... never once has anyone ever provided that perfect service in 36 years... until Tasha yesterday.
I don't make a habit of complaining but having multiple qualifications in customer service I do believe that anyone who is prepared to make a complaint should also be prepared to acknowledge when the service goes above and beyond, we're far more inclined to complain than praise, positive feedback is far more likely to create a much more positive and happier place to be... Tasha thank you! Absolutely fantastic!

Limited beer selection but other than that all good.
Been numerous times and food always spot on, plenty of gf choices available.
2 meals for £10.49 during the week.
A points card available to help earn rewards.
The staff always helpful and friendly, special mention to Karen S who has served us the last few times and really welcoming and knowledgeable.
The only negative is sometimes the toilet can be broken but the staff cannot help that .
Would go again and have actually booked already.
I had an amazing experience while visiting your restaurant. I had a great welcome from Emma, even though she had been at work since 0600hrs. I was in at 1900hrs.
Nothing was too much trouble.
The food was excellent so was the couple of pints I had to accompany my meal.
For breakfast next day, I was really surprised to see Emma in again so early.
Emma and Tasha both made my breakfast experience exceptional.
I do hope that Management understand how good your employee's are. They are a credit to your restaurant and they deserve proper remuneration for their hard dedicated work.
Unfortunately I was unable to give them a tip, as I was Paying by card and there is no means of acceptance of a tip on the computer system.
I did personally thank everyone.
Fantastic service as always, kind friendly staff, Tasha and Leah are especially lovely and always provide a relaxing atmosphere for breakfast.
The staff also always provide adaptations when we bring in our autistic children, trying to seat us in a quiet area to support their needs which is hugely appreciated, thankyou.
Was rather busy as half term but nothing was too much trouble for tasha and leah. GREAT SERVICE AND PATIENCE! as we had a wild bunch of energetic children with us🤪
Usually make Sunday mornings an adventure of trying new/different places for cooked breakfast. AT LAST we've found a beautiful breakfast at an affordable price. Not only was it clean food it was relatively cheap, had plenty on variety including continental food, brilliant and efficient staff & also a brilliant coffee machine that ties everything together. I will definitely be back here on Sundays. Just to add we didn't realise we needed to book the table, however the brilliant front of house managed to fit 3 of us in, was very happy.
We had a birthday celebration on Saturday. The age range 4 months to 70. The food and service was excellent. The various meals were cooked to perfection. So our thanks to all the staff once again for making it a special day.
