We absolutely love Royal Crown Derby products and decided to book a private guided tour with the museum director, Elizabeth. There were beautiful pieces in the museum with interesting stories, which Elizabeth knowledgeably talked about. She was engaging and welcomed questions.
Highlight of the tour
When I visit Royal Crown Derby to collect my items I’m always greeted with a smile from all the staff who work there. Jane, David, Anisha and Natasha are always happy to help - they are a great team.

Stopped for lunch - pleasant cafe, friendly staff. My toasted sandwich was generously accompanied by a fresh yet simple salad and coleslaw.
I’m not a fan of loose leaf tea - I thought there was a magic strainer in the pot - so I wouldn’t agree to that again.
The shop is really pricey, beware, there are some very good pieces of pottery for sale and some offers. I have recently been on a tour of the working area of Royal Crown Derby and it was really interesting, especially the painting and transfer section. Staff are friendly and very knowledgeable, ask
