Great Wetherspoons pub, use to be a bank years ago, the style of this magnificent building has been nicely preserved. Beer excellent, I drink real ale. Tried food here and that’s good too. Price’s brilliant as you’d expect from Wetherspoons. Cleanliness good including the toilets. Staff nice, well recommended 👍

This was a fantastic pub to go drinking at, with a grand design particularly the colossal roof! Best Wetherspoons in Derby; the chandeliers are beautiful, staff make us welcome and the counter is well-presented. Me and my friend enjoyed a cocktail pitcher and mini cheddars that are very cheap, sitting comfortably at a clean table!

Staff really helped with accessible washroom that was locked and out of paper. Food is passable. It's ok but nothing special. But the beer's great.

Big place. Great breakfast. I recommend eggs Benedict. And wide selection of good beers and cider. Quite cheap, affordable.

I've been to lots of Wetherspoons pubs around the UK and I have to say the interior of this building is stunning. Its recently had a £1.7 Million refurbishment in which they have increased the size of the building by occupying the building to the left of it. They have a nice modern beer garden now. The bar is in a large island in the centre of the former banking hall, the ceiling is very high and very decorative, do have a look up when your ordering your drinks. They had two flat (boxed) ciders on, service was quick. The food was good, had the BBQ Melt and the British Bramley apple pie which were both excellent. Look forward to coming to this spoons again.

After redecorated, we almost visited here every Friday after work. The place is big and very traditional and beautiful, with a large bar area. The food, drink and wine is good and cheaper than other pubs and restaurants. Besides, various age group will be here, unlike others just either of the older or the youth. In additional, many families will come to here to get their breakfast as the breakfast menu has much varieties. In summary, it may be the best place in Derby to have a gathering, especially need a big big Venus with many many people joining.

Visit Derby 2 or 3 times a year. Discovered this pub last week. Lovely food and coffees as usual. Lovely staff. The building is absolutely amazing. Couldn't help but take a few photos. We will visit again definately.😊

Came here when it used to be my bank. It's changed a bit since then. They've had an extension and the decorators in. Also got an open kitchen and a very large patio area out the back. Can't give it five stars,it's a wetherspoons after all. But worth a visit.

Usually meet friends here, stay here for a few hours usually get a Booth and have a right good gossip. The one thing about the new frontage seats and are in this pub is that it's freezing! We long to sit in there, but sadly it's just too cold! Oh and if it busy you will probably have to clean the table you want and rid it of plates and glasses...

It’s a spoons, simple you know what your getting. Items now the only Wetherspoons this top end of derby. Order on the app and avoid the bar queue, but food is as you expect end for a nice walk out of town and food for our kids it fits the bill and you can’t complain.

Food is nice most of the time only downside is you get about 5 chips with a meal, if added more would definitely be 5* Service is abit slow but is due to being very busy other than that great friendly staff.

I'm a big fan of a weatherspoons and this is one of the best. Great location, cheap beer and cheap food. Atmosphere is always good, beer garden is great and it's never too rammed to get a seat. Toilet is a small commute by train to get to, but that's expected with a wetherspoons.
