Lovely place. I highly recommend the all day breakfast! We will be back again. The shop downstairs is also vegan heaven! 😍

We were looking for a place where our son with dairy and egg allergies can eat. He loved his vegan cupcake and ate half of my vegan sausage sandwich 😊. A lovely little cafe with very tasty food and a very nice gentleman making our food. Highly recommended👍

I had a lovely veggie breakfast cooked whilst I waited. Lovely quirky atmosphere - reminds me of my younger days and visiting vegetarian restaurants in Stroud and Totnes

I was there together with Natalie Bennett. She said it was delicious and I second that. I've been there before and I will come again. Great vegan food for a good price and great staff. :)

I was very sceptical about going to this place for our Christmas party. .. I was pleasantly surprised. Lovely food, great hosts and all at a brilliant price. Nothing was too much trouble. Wonderful atmosphere too. Thanks for a lovely evening.

We love Yaffle - a friendly place to stop in for a herbal tea and a variety of great value vegan food. Always welcoming to my small children, too.

This is a lovely, homely and welcoming place, filled with shelves of pre-loved books (for sale or just to read over a cuppa). We've been before for soup and hot drinks but our most recent visit was for a one-off Sunday Lunch. Three amazing courses: pea and parsnip soup with homemade bread, followed by quinoa and butternut roast with mushroom gravy, roasted onions and potatoes, and veg. It was so delicious! My super-sceptical (about veganism) hubby loved it and ate every last mouthful. Finished off with apple and pineapple crumble with soy cream. We were so full, we practically waddled out of there. Thank you guys for a lovely meal and your warm hospitality

Cosy quirky little cafe above Soundbites, a fantastic vegan shop and resource. It's a warm and welcoming little space, with tables crammed in with loads of books to browse and games to play. Food is great, brilliant soups, sandwiches, a full vegan breakfast or sausages and mash - wholesome unpretentious food for a reasonable price. Also, loads of teas to try and amazing vegan cake! Often complete with glitter. Perfect place for a catch up with a friend, or just to take a break and read a book.

Small but perfectly formed veggie/vegan cafe. Lovely all day veggie breakfast or toastie. They have daily specials and a range of hot and cold drinks as well as range of tasty cakes. Well worth a visit and just a great alternative to the usual high street fair. It is upstairs though so you have to be mobile!

Cosy space, friendly folks, their tea choices are awesome and they cook some amazing stuff. They let you browse their books, laze around at peace..a place that you can get used to very easily.. Totally recommend the place for the unpretentious and those who like keeping it simple. Happy Christmas James and Melody... I will come to see you folks every time I visit Derby..

Beautiful little cafe in Derby! Would recommend anyone to come here, Great atmosphere and lovely home cooked food. There are lots of books and games to have a look through and the food is delicious. Gives me hope that derby isn’t so bad after all!

Yaffle cafe is a breath of fresh air in an otherwise harmonised world of boring, middle of the road, same old same old coffee shops. The staff are all ways welcoming and knowledgeable about the food and drinks they serve. Which incidentally I think is all organic. Food is wholesome and tasty and there is a broad range of drinks. Books, board games and good music to go with my coffee in a comfortable homely atmosphere. xxx

What a great place... This is what vegetarian cafes and radical bookshops were like in the 1980s. Friendly staff, a decent vegetarian and vegan menu, inexpensive second-hand books and they even serve Barleycup!
