My new favourite place. The food was amazing and super tasty and the service was on point too. From my first experience, I couldn't pick up on one negative and I'm pretty picky sometimes. The icing on the cake was that the chef's came out to ensure we were enjoying our food. Great customer service. Will definitely return.

I am a regular - Insanely good food, value, decor. The staff, including the owner, are very friendly and accommodating. I will be back every other day while I live in Derby :)
Fantastic lunch today at Turquoise kitchen, we had the Adana wrap and then Sarma Beyti! We was greeted and sat down, once our order was taken we were given some delicious homemade bread with homemade garlic sauce and chilli sauce - all complimentary!
The food was incredible especially for the price!!

Been to this fabulous restaurant twice to dine in & once for a tasty takeaway. Such flavoursome food & the bread & sauces were divine. It’s our new favourite in derby �lovely friendly staff too � we will certainly come again

What an amazing hidden gem! I had no idea how nice this place is, nice clean decor, large spacious seating area and good service. The food was absolutely delicious and good value for money. The Hot Mezze Starter was a great choice for a starter as it came with a little bit of everything. You are served with complimentary flat bread which tasted incredible. Everything about this place was great, we will most certainly be coming again!
The complimentary flatbread was warm, crusty and went well with the dips. We ordered the hot starters set and was impressed by the quality of the food. The Moussaka was rich and flavourful and one of the best we’ve eaten. The octopus casserole was flavourful and cooked al dente, which went very well with the lovely chickpea rice. Will definitely be back again!

It's a new place so was rather quiet during our visit.
Waiting staff was very attentive but also not intrusive.
After we ordered , we received 3 baskets of Turkish flat bread which was quite a substantial amount considering there was 6 of us.
We also received some roasted onions which were marinated. Despite then looking like being straight from the grill they were actually cold yet really tasty (I personally don't like onions though but this was a positive surprise).
The two sauces, one garlic and one spicy, mixed really well with the flat bread.
Not long after our food arrived.
2x lamb beyti
1x chicken beyti
1x lamb moussaka
1x falafel
1x chicken shish
Alongside that plates of fresh mixed salad to share
I have ordered lamb beyti and tried the chicken beyity. Lamb was excellent, cooked medium (slightly pink'ish). The only thing I would improve was thay it came warm rather than hot. UPDATE. it appears this meal is served warm as other meals were hot
The chicken version of the meal was also very good but I preferred the more intense flavour of lamb .
Not sure about all the other meals but everyone was more than impressed with the food and we all agreed this is the place to come back to.
After we finished our meals we were served Turkish tea and some Turkish sweets (on the house).
The bill in total included a service fee of 12.5% which is great as you don't have to worry if what you left is enough or not .

My family and I really enjoy going here. The staff are attentive, the food is delicious (and halal) and it's good value for money. We love the sharing platters that are available.

Good food with prices not that big. This is a good option in Derby. For eating and drinking you will spend around 18 pounds.

The food is always very good. The staff do seem a little overawed by the whole thing. There was a mix up with the starters but it didn't change our overall rating. It might be an idea if s trained member of staff explains the menu. A sharing mezze type starter would also be a good idea. We will definitely be going back.
The food and service here is excellent. We were a party of 10, and selected three platters and a couple of mezze dishes. There was plenty of food for everyone, including plates of salad. The lamb dishes tasted amazing. There was a good choice of beers, and wine. We also had baklava and Turkish Delight for dessert. A really enjoyable meal. The restaurant also hosts Turkish themed evenings, which includes belly dancers. Unfortunately we didn't visit on one if those evenings, but had a great time all the same. The prices are very reasonable
Went for lunch on a cold and wet Wednesday but received a warm welcome on entry. The decorations are really nice but nothing compared to the food. We were given bread with yogurt and chili sauce before the starters which were really tasty. We had the grilled sausage and the cold aubergine starters and then we both had the lamb casserole which was all really good. The casserole was quite spicy but incredibly delicious. We will definitely be coming back here again, if only to try the lamb knuckle which looked good on the menu but is only available in the evening
Brilliant place, probably the most friendly and welcoming restaurant weve been too.
Food was really nice and well presented.
Came with our 2yr old and baby daughters and part of a group and they were so nice and friendly with our two daughters.
The restaurant itself was done to a really high standard throughout and equally matched the food and service.

The food was absolutely lovely, the place has been done up very well and it's very clean. Only criticism I have is that half of the staff don't seem like they know any customer service. The girl who seated us literally didn't say one word to us. I would recommend bu5 don't expect a fantastic service when you go.
A very impressive restaurant and service, it’s rare than this service and attention is given in other restaurants! The manager and staff were all very happy and attentive, creating a lovely atmosphere. Food was beautiful, will 100% be returning. Thanks.
