Went here for a late evening meal last night, waiter was really friendly and food was good (my lamb was a little tougher than my local place but that would be my only criticism), my wife had a chicken biryani which she said was really tasty. Also big portions and really well priced
Just popped in on the off chance. It was the best curry we've had in ages. The chef obviously appreciates the importance of good flavour. The servings were really big too, and we ended up taking half of it home. Will definitely be back.
A colleague took as here for a pre-wedding party. Great first impressions, with amazing service. The food was tasty as well.

We entered Mogul at around 7pm and it wasn't that busy. There was a group of 11 of us in total. As we arrived drinks orders were taken at our table. Sadly due to a later arrival we didn't order our food until later. They were very accommodating with this and eventually we got our starters of dips and poppadoms. After this our food arrived which was lovely. Service was consistent throughout. We would definitely consider coming again in the future. I can't say I've ever been to any Indian restaurants before so made for a really nice experience.

Visiting Derby for the weekend, tried Mogul restaurant. Ali the waiter worked so hard bless him. Rushed off his feet, kept his cool and so pleasant and polite despite being short staffed. The food was delicious and would highly recommend this place.
The food was unreal.. I've had currys In many places but they got these perfect for us all... sister had a great 30th
First time ordering from here but being a Bradford/Leeds lad I've yet to find a good curry in the Derby area until now!
Fantastic curry with great portions, will be a regular from now on.
This is a hidden gem, great food just in the city center, quick service, not always crowded,but taste is equally good compared to all the Indian restaurant in Derby.
Quantity is quite big, good for sharing.
