Great place to eat and drink, went with a group of friends and most of us had burgers washed down with Spanish lager. Such a great variety of burgers and sides plus other dishes available too. All in an a amazing old building, well worth a visit. All my friends here today all equally loved the place too 👍
First time at the derby branch, waited ages to be served as there were only a couple of guys trying to serve the whole place on a busy Saturday afternoon.When we got served the guy apologized for the wait and from that point the day got better.
The food and drink and atmosphere were excellent
Came here for a family birthday. The staff made us all feel very welcome, especially our server Leon.
If you're looking for burgers with a difference, this is definitely the place to come. 3 pages of the menu were dedicated to an incredible choice of burger combinations. It took us all a while to decide.
There were a couple of small errors with our orders, but they were all sorted out immediately and without any fuss at all.
We even got to meet Annie herself who was over on a visit from the United States!!
All in all a brilliant night out and we will be back!!

We've always had great food here. I sometimes have a late breakfast and skip lunch so I can eat their American sized portions. Wild monthly / bi-monthly / seasonal specials. Don't be afraid to take your burger apart or rearrange it if you can't fit it in you mouth.
I've been having drinks in a stein with my meals, working through their on-tap ales. You can have a cocktail in a stein (I recommend the Don Father), though that costs extra. Presumably you can have a simple drink like a coke in one, I've never thought to ask.
Even though they are currently training new staff there have been little to no mistakes, but if any have come up they were sorted as best and as quickly as possible!
We always leave full and satisfied, what we don't eat we ask for a box to take it home in to eat later, or re-heat it for lunch the next day.
Ordering for a delivery is just as tasty, it's is wrapped up far better than most regular takeaways wrap their food.
£19 for a burger and stein of your choice. A great deal for such a nice meal. The range of topping they offer is astonishing. I would recommend booking because they sometimes do events. During the events they can still take bookings but they are moved into the tavern which is a small space. If it is busy, the food can take a while to arrive. The staff are always friendly and can answer any of our questions. I wish they offered a few different puddings because non of them appealed to us.
Annie’s is a must for everyone who loves a good burger!
They have a range of options- even for the pickiest of eaters.
All burgers can be made veggie or vegan friendly (with no compromise on flavour). Depending on allergies, burgers can also be modified to accommodate (nut allergies).
Staff were brilliant- friendly and approachable.

During a recent visit to Derby, my family and me stopped in at Annie's Burger Shack for dinner.
The service was polite and prompt, the prices reasonable and portion sizes were huge and most importantly delicious!

Worked alongside annies burger shack on a family fun day staff and management where brilliant. The venue itself is a good size inside with everywhere being clean and tidy.
Well priced food and drinks. The food itself was beautiful and came out fast and very hot even though they was mega busy.

A nice return visit to this branch, we always favour this one over Nottingham. Bonus of a quiz being held there this evening we took part in. Although a longer than average wait considering trade, the food was good and staff friendly. Ample parking to be found nearby in parking lot
We visited in a group of 7. The two wait staff were very friendly and really matched the energy of our group. They had a challenging evening because apparently there was an accident in the kitchen, but also there were some drunks trying to cause chaos and they later came back and threw eggs. The wait staff did an amazing job looking after us and the other diners, And even though the food took a while we had an amazing time. The staff were a credit to the restaurant. I come here all the time and it is far and away my favourite place to eat. The food is always very well prepared, there are lots of options and it's very affordable. Top restaurant in Derby
A mixed bag for us, we were told when we arrived there would be a bit of wait for food due to an issue with the grill but we were happy to wait .
Negatives … over an hour wait for food but we were told when we arrived there could be a longer than usual wait.
Smokers stood right in the entrance with the doors open meant it was just blowing back into the restaurant and to the tables in a row as you walk in but a member of staff did go and shut the doors after a while.
No check back to the table during the hour wait for food for drinks .
Positives … food was delicious, hot and good size portion, definitely worth the wait , all of our party really enjoyed the meal.
Quirky looking venue .
Server’s although busy and getting a bit of flack from waiting customers were friendly and clearly doing their best .
