What a friendly cosy gem to sit and have tea and cake or a snack.There is a small seating area outside at the back for the warmer months and a beautiful gift shop as you arrive inside. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to Mickleover.

First time having a hot drink at The Alphabet shop, we had a skinny latte each and we sat outside. It was nice to have an outside option (round the back) as it was a lovely day.
The staff were really nice and offered us a menu, we also got asked on the way out if we enjoyed ourselves etc.
It was very busy which was surprising for a Friday, everytime we go past it is busy. I have ate here before but that was a few years ago and I remember it being nice so I will go back again.
There is of course all the gifts and things you can buy as well, a very nice selection and they always make the front window look lovely with their products.

Great gift shop with cards & personalised gifts. Small cafe with good selection of drinks & light meals. On street parking. Staff are friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit.
Lovely afternoon lunch here last week! Was a lovely atmosphere and the staff were very helpful and timely to take orders. We ordered the Christmas sandwich specials and they were all devine and exactly how a Christmas sandwich should taste! Really got me and my 2 girlfriends into the 'Christmas spirit'. The coffee was beautiful also and exactly what was needed on a wet and damp day out to lunch. Thank you for a lovely visit will definetly be back.
The shop well located in Mickleover, nice seating area and atmosphere is lovely. Staff were friendly and chatting with a smile. Food quality and drinks are rare to see these days "exceptional". Happy to recommend this to friends and family..

My 4 year old son and I went in for a little treat this morning and we received such welcoming, friendly service. My son, who is usually reluctant, was completely made to feel at ease by the lovely lady, Julie, who was so friendly and attentive. Excellent customer service! Such a lovely little cafe.😃
