A beautiful, quirky interior with great tasting food, hidden in the centre of town... Food - First visit: A fair selection of food, not huge amount, but here it is quality over quantity. Food came fairly prompt and was presented nicely. Full of flavour and very enjoyable. Second visit: Food took a little too long considering there were only three tables. That being said, quality was still amazing. Drinks - I visited with two friends and each had a different cocktail - again well presented and no complaints from any of us. Service - First visit: Each and every staff member greeted us as we walked through and to our table - and wished us well as we left - a nice friendly touch. Our waitress was friendly but professional, taking the time to have passing conversation with us. Second visit: Whilst friendly, staff seemed less attentive. We also waited an excessive amount of time for our food, despite being one of only three tables. Lost a star for this for me. Atmosphere - This was my first visit and was surprised at the sheer space and grandeur hidden behind the small front. Clearly an old classical building, but has been decorated well, to keep enough of the old touches whilst adding a quirky twist. Only down side was the heat, maybe investing in some air conditioning may be an improvement, but hey, everywhere feels like the surface of the sun this week. Will recommend and return.

Amazing place to go for birthdays and catch ups. My sister came down to visit from London and it was a lovely experience being sat In there with the gorgeous interior and comfortable chairs! The food was lovely but we did have to wait a bit longer than expected for it to arrive.

Love this place. I need to try dinner next time as i normally come for a quiet family breakfast as a special treat for birthdays. Loads of choice on the menu. Staff always friendly and helpful. Food is of a good quality and very tasty. I had the Butcher's Brunch which was very large, if you've got an appetite! 😃

I recently celebrated my twins' 21st birthday at the Cosy Club in Derby with my husband and three daughters, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The restaurant's opulent yet cosy decor set the perfect ambiance for our celebration. As a family with three vegans, we were delighted to find a wide variety of delectable vegan options on the menu, all of which were incredibly delicious. What truly stood out, besides the exquisite food, was the professional yet friendly service we received. The staff at Cosy Club exceeded all expectations, making our celebration truly memorable. From their attentiveness to their genuine friendliness, every aspect of the service was top-notch. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Cosy Club experience to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience in Derby. We were so impressed that we plan to visit frequently. The combination of luxurious decor, exceptional food, and outstanding service makes it a top-class restaurant worth returning to.

Food, service, and atmosphere were all great, and there was a nice wide selection on the gluten free menu too.

Friendly and helpful waiters, food was late coming as a printer in the kitchen broke meaning our order wasn't put through when we ordered it but the waitresses kept us updated with it all. Food was worth the wait, really nice. The place itself is beautiful and so grand. Would recommend and will be visiting again.

Food was astounding. The atmosphere and decor was so damn pretty. Server was chatty, and lovely to talk to and clearly knew the dishes well. It was the perfect excuse to dress up smart in a 3 piece and enjoy the company of my bestie. We will both be back, thank you!

Well, look at this place, throw back to the roaring 20's. Stylish, decadent and all together a bit of a swanky bar and restaurant. Good choice of dishes and well prepared and served. Service is on point and attentive. I had the sea bass with teriyaki noodles, which was first rate. Can recommend just for the decor and the ambiance itself. Jolly good show old bean.

Came here for brunch on a recommendation of my friend and so glad I went. The restaurant is on the 1st floor, but there is a lift in case you can't manage stairs. It brings you out to lovely bar and seating area which leads you through to the restaurant. We were served by Craig who was very chatty and friendly. The restaurant is very art deco looking and beautiful. I had the classic breakfast which was probably the nicest breakfast I've every had. The rostis were a particular highlight. If I'm in Derby again I will definitely visit.

We escaped the Heat of the Derby High Street, for the cool and sumptuous Art decco dining room of the Cosy club. The food was delicious with super service. We were immediately seated and served with a cold jug of water. We both ordered mains and drinks and were not disappointed with the quality of food and would definitely visit again.

We had a little surprise family 30th birthday here on Sunday and it was lovely. The staff were fantastic, the food was gorgeous and the decor amazing. It was our first visit but will definitely not be our last. We had a 10 week old baby and a 2 year old with us and staff and facilities were great for them. Would definitely recommend for any get together.

We came here on 20/9/23 for my sons 18th birthday, the staff were amazing, they ID’d him once and then were so attentive and friendly all night, laughing and joking with us, always asking at just the right time if we needed more drinks! The food was outstanding, absolutely gorgeous and not a single issue with anything at all! The atmosphere was great, people laughing and having fun everywhere. The decor is beautiful, and for an old building it’s fully accessible for disabled people. I can’t recommend this place enough, I’m so looking forward to our next visit already

Quite nice. The staff are lovely- very friendly and presentable, they make you feel good. Think I made a bad choice about the food; salmon salad- the salmon was cold and separated on top. The mango in the salad was too much of a variation with me. I’m sure those with a more refined pallet may find this enjoyable. The bread starter was nice- plenty of it. My other half had the halloumi starter and then a meat free burger. Lager (Estrella) was tasty. This is a massive place, it looks pretty and it looks good for groups- there were two groups already in there when we got there. I’ll come back, with a different choice on the menu.

Food absolutely delicious! Service was slow this time round but it was very busy and there was an incident in the lift. All in all I think the staff did a great job given the circumstances, though it was a very long wait for our mains. Would definitely come back as the steak was literally incredible 😍
