Been meaning to call here for a while, finally made it today and wasn't disappointed.
A warm, friendly welcome awaits you on entry ,we booked a table ahead, which is a wise move as it is a busy place.
We opted for the Stilton,cream cheese ,walnut and mango chutney sandwich on thick granary bread, what a flavour combination, it was delicious and as far as a sandwich goes it is probably the nicest I've ever had!
There is a lovely selection of cakes to choose from, we chose the Ninaimo and a white chocolate and peanut butter blondiè, these again were both delicious, all washed down with a lovely cappuccino .
Service was excellent, will definitely visit again when in the area.
Took a friend there for a mid day meal. They take notice of allergies. The meals were nicely presented.
Very popular with mothers and young families.
We had the Eggs Benedict that was rather pleasant.
When in the area it is worth a try.
Nice little cafe with a delicious range of cakes. Service and atmosphere is really good and prices are reasonable, sandwich was nice, although a little basic.

Great service from friendly staff. They're serving takeaway at the moment and the quality of the food is excellent. Best cheese scone I've ever eaten. Really generous portion sizes and the hot drinks are very tasty. Cakes are also delicious.
Absolutely love this place for breakfast/ lunch. The quiche is out of this world as are the garlic mushrooms on ciabatta. Cakes are superb too and even better blankets are provided to keep off the chill if youd like to sit outside. Thankyou fintons xx

Lovely café, loads of choice for gluten free! Very friendly, helpful staff, fair prices and food was to die for!
After a short wait we got a table for two, the place isn't that large and gets very busy at lunch time especially if you haven't booked. Food is easy to order up at the counter and we didn't need to wait long until it arrived. Delicious food, highly recommended - book in advance.
The scones to take away as well as on the spot in the cafe are simply insane 🥹 I love coming back to you! ♥️

They very kindly allowed me to adjust the menu to suit the complex dietary requirement of the gentleman I support, even though very busy, which I really appreciated.. Their salads are varied, fresh and beautiful, all home made food & cakes.. gorgeous. We will be returning definatly
Lovely little cafe, worth the drive out there for homemade cakes and scones etc. They even have gluten free options which is great for my wife.
Great cafe, friendly welcome. A good selection of tempting meals. Had a gorgeous quiche (mozzarella, pesto and cherry tomato) with salad. Great selection of fresh cakes, Loved the fruit scones and clotted cream with jam.
Consistently top class, range of food on offer; facilities always welcoming and spotless; staff always courteous. Never fails to deliver absolute quality. Thank you Fintons for offering such good value and excellent service. Your hard work in achieving this does not go unnoticed. Looking forward to a return visit.
Excellent cafe with a menu to cater for pretty much everyone's taste. I had a GF sponge which was very tasty. First visit but will definitely be back again soon
Lovely cup of fresh leaf tea! Seriously makes all the difference and a yummy giant sized slice of bakewell tart. Not from the area, just popped in on my way by so was happy to get such a nice cuppa. Thank you!
