Never have I been disappointed when I have visited. The food is amazing and the staff are friendly and will go the extra mile for you. Can always tell a place is run by great management when the staff look happy to be at work. The Wonky Table will always be my favourite restaurant.
Lovely restaurant, food was delicious, sea bass cooked perfectly. mushroom starter was to die for. cheese board after yum make a mean mojito also very friendly attentive staff food presentation perfect, sure we shall be paying another visit sometime. �
We went here for a Works Christmas meal. Oh my !! The food is AMAZING ! Probably one of the best restaurants I have been to for a long time. The staff were friendly and accommodating, lovely atmosphere. I will definitely be coming again !!
Food was all amazing however creme brulee was beautiful and the hot chocolate was so thick and yummy... best hot chocolate ever. The standard of food was very high. The decor is beautiful stylish and cosy and the service was extremely good. Made better by decorating my husband's pudding with chocolate happy birthday writing and a candle in his creme brulee so this added a special extra touch so thank you. The Wonky Table is an established restaurant for splendid evening meals - it is however a hidden gem for lunchtimes. They offer a 2-course lunch for £12.95 that would blow the socks off any nearby Italian restaurant chain. Highly recommended,

Visited on Saturday night -had not made a reservation but managed to get a lovely table in the new garden area . The food was as always fabulous - sea bass and pork - and then amazing creme brûlée - but what makes the restaurant so very special are the fabulous staff - nothing is too much trouble and even through they were full and with a big party upstairs. �
An impromptu visit and a belated mother's day treat for my lovely mum. We had the two course lunch menu with creamy mushroom starter and steak for main, washed down with a very nice Malbec. Quality, flavoursome food and friendly, attentive staff. Absolutely superb! We will both be returning soon.

I’ve heard so much about The Wonky Table, past it a few times, read up on reviews. Last night I tried it and it did not disappoint!! Very quirky, home-feel restaurant. Limited Menu but with some great options. The food was great and the service too. Would recommend, definitely. Thank you 💫
Came her on NYE and the service and food was incredible. We had only eaten here once before and it was many years ago.
We and a set menu which was such great value for money and we keep saying how we need to come back for me!!

Booked online without issue. It’s somewhere we’d both wanted to visit for some time, so chose a belated Birthday and Date Night to do so
It looks smart from the outside. Inside is cosy, traditional, and warm, with a homely feel to it. We were promptly greeted, and shown to our table (downstairs; window). The restaurant was near-full whilst we were there
Service was impeccable throughout - traditional, attentive, and personable. As such, we were never left wanting for drinks, and our orders were taken promptly at each stage of our meal
We enjoyed Prosecco and cocktails during our evening. All were really tasty
The food is beautiful! We shared Bao Buns, devoured the Sea Bass and Belly of Pork, and shared a Dessert. All were faultless - well presented, beautifully cooked, and perfectly portioned
Testament to its popularity, we enjoyed our stay to its fullest, and were asked for our table so it could be prepared for other reservations (we’d been told about this when we booked)

Booked for a family Christmas dinner. All members of the family enjoyed the lovely unique festive food and décor, great ambience. Despite the place not being too large it felt quite spacious and were given time to enjoy the night. The festive cocktails were also great but caused me to forget to pick up some family Christmas cards. Joe was great, during his own break he took the time to post the cards back to me. Being over three hours away this was a great help. Great staff! Can't wait to visit again.
There was a group of 6 of us and the verdict from all of us was that everything was amazing. Excellent service, quality food, beautifully cooked and we will definitely be back.
A French style bistro, serving decent food. There is a good vegan / vegetarian selection as well as Thornbridge beers on tap. Definitely recommended
Came here Saturday 18/09/21 as I searched for places to eat in Derby. Read the reviews and all seemed good. The food and service was exceptional. The restaurant has a lovely feel about it and I would say artisan. Prices very reasonable and the food just delicious. I'm not one for a mesium/rare steak but how it was cooked and what it was served with just made it melt in your mouth. The owner was very friendly and took time to chat with you and also the waiter possibly chef as well, who was French, also took time to chat with you. All in all a fabulous experience and if your looking for that special place for a meal, then I couldn't recommend highly enough. Keep up the great food and service and we will be coming back. Great food, atmosphere and staff. Not an extensive menu so you know that all is freshly cooked. Vegetarian options are available. A nice cosy little restaurant
A beautiful restaurant with amazing food! I'd highly recommend the Chicken Supreme and Sticky Toffee pudding! Staff are friendly and add to the unique atmosphere of this quirky eatery. Everything is cooked from scratch and definitely worth the wait!
