Carnero Lounge is one of my favourite places to eat! It's dog friendly all the time, which is fantastic! Very friendly staff, beautiful interior, clean, quick service, delicious food, plenty of dairy-free choice (but could do with a second pudding option, dairy-free milk and dairy-free ice cream, and a few morecvegan tapas), and decent value for money I also love the all-day brunch menu! I recommend here!

I am gluten free and vegetarian Eating out has become a chore and makes for some awkward socialising not only for me but who I'm with when they realise eating for me is challenging However I was taken to the carnero lounge once and now this has become my go to place whenever I want to chill out and eat with my friends They offer so many menus catering exceptionally well for all diets And for me not just one or two choices but a whole menu of gluten free dishes It's so easy and enjoyable Being able to sit with a menu and order at the same time as my friends and have the food out at the same time as my friends No fuss or umcomfortableness It's made eating out a pleasure for me again I just want to add that they may offer different menus and cater for everybody but the food is not compromised at all Very tasty good choice nicely presented plenty and reasonably priced Every time I've gone I've had something different and I've not been dissatisfied At the risk of boring everyone with my incredibly long review Thank You carnero lounge for giving me the opportunity to have a stress free lunch See you again soon

I have visited lounges in various city's and I have to say carnero Derby tops the list. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is great and the wait time always acceptable even when they are busy. Definitely a top spot to visit in Derby.

Visited yesterday with my friend & our two little boys. Very relaxed & chilled atmosphere all round & best of all it was child friendly. Great little play corner & book shelf for our boys to stay occupied & the staff were amazing with us too. They couldn't do enough for you. They really made me feel at ease whilst we enjoyed the delicious food there. I would highly recommend & will definitely be going back again next time I visit town.

My bandmate and I were in Derby and popped into your Sunday open mic. We really enjoyed the vibe of Carnero. Nice, chilled out atmosphere. Open and spacious, with lots of comfy seating. I had a very tasty soya latte and piece of red velvet cake. All in all, a positive experience and I'd recommend it to friends.

Love this place. It's so relaxed and all walks of life are made extremely welcome: families, dogs, the old, the young. I often go in with friends and also by myself for a drink or a bite to eat. No one rushes you and it's just lovely with great, friendly staff. Introduced it to my friends recently and they seemed to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere too.

Great choice of vegetarian food, plus lovely cocktails. Certain times they do cocktail deals which are great! Quirky laid back interior, good place to hang out with games etc! Defo will return! First discovered Loungers chain when on holiday in the South West- Carnero lounge is just as good, nice to have one closer to home!

Well, those who know my reviews ... know that I don't often give 5, however, I'm a bit of a Lounge fan, and this place was great. Friendly service from the staff, great environment with the pictures on the walls and it didn't disappoint with its quirkiness. I had the most delicious honeycomb cake which was moist and tasty. Plus the mocha which was good. Toilets were upstairs and were clean and tidy. There're plenty of seating upstairs too. You can argue that it's a bit dark inside, but I would call it atmospheric ☺️. I would recommend this place.

Great experience at this Lounge (I'm a big fan of each of the Lounges I've been to). Really excellent service and friendly, welcoming staff - nothing was too much trouble. Food was lovely - the Miami Brunch always makes me happy. Good atmosphere with a mix of people in there. Felt very comfortable to linger and enjoy the relaxed vibe. Couldn't have had a better visit.

A lovely chain of restaurants with a really bespoke interior and vibe. Food is great, me and a friend visited for breakfast as been a few times for drinks and thought we would try the food here. I had a pot of tea and big breakfast, the breakfast whilst costly was cooked to perfection, a nice selection of breakfast items, the sausages were a little disappointing as they were rather small, I also asked for extra mushrooms instead of black pudding but felt the portion was probably no different. The only gripe I had was the plate and cup for my tea was dirty, as was the spoon, which is a small letdown, other than that it's rather good!

We ordered the Halloumi Burger and the Korean Chicken Burger both were super nice and tasty. For dessert we ordered the Chocolate Brownie and the Jammy Ice Cream Doughnut which were really nice as well. This was the first time visiting Carnero Lounge and we will definitely be back. Staff were very nice and it was very clean.

They offer full gluten free and vegan menus with plenty of options for multiple courses. After some information gathering, my coeliac friend and I took a punt and ordered burgers with chips and a dessert to share. We had a lovely meal and my friend had no issues with the food. The staff were super helpful as I scoped the place out and very friendly.

I see this place as a good bar with really good tapas. Good atmosphere, good vibe inside, the decor naturally calms you and encourages you to spend a while there. Staff were friendly and humorous. My only criticism is that you have to wait to be seated then wait and the bar again to order. I think the personability of this could be improved. Once the food and drinks are brought to you it's all forgotten.

We went along for Brunch. Plenty of seating available. Friendly helpful staff. Good selection to choose from. I had the big lounge breakfast with extra black pudding. Food arrived quickly and was very filling. Would like to return for dinner and try that menu out with a few drinks

Excellent food and drinks! A great place to hang out with friends and talk! Spent a few hours there and loved the environment. Felt like food before I left and got a really strange dish that I absolutely loved. I can't for the life of me tell you what it was that I got. It has slow cooked beef in it, cheese, sour cream and was topped off with chorizo. All I know is that it was very tasty.

Needed a good breakfast on the bank holiday and this place didn't disappoint. The ambiance was great and the staff were really attentive. Food was amazing and the self-service table app was spot on. Well done to everyone who was working there. They got it right and that's amazing as we've been to a few places that seemed to struggle with the basics.

This was my first visit, and I was here to have a brunch party with some friends. Located in Derby City Centre it is easy find but doesn't have any parking. However there are plenty of car parks nearby. The front is modern with an outdoor area that is cordoned of so that it separates the general public and customers. Plenty of seating with tables. The main entrance is wheelchair friendly and the downstairs area is on one level. Inside you have a great bar with coffee and other hot drinks along with a good range of alcoholic ones. The downstairs area is extensive, with plenty of seating and tables, toilets are both up and downstairs. Upstairs (no lift) is a casual seating area and a long table area, the kitchen is upstairs with a serving hatch. The staff are excellent, polite, friendly and welcoming. Food is good, I had a lovely cooked English breakfast. The atmosphere is really nice and they have decent background music. Prices aren't too bad considering location and I will definitely be going back here in the future. Overall a very good quality experience.
