Fantastic food. Fantastic service. I'm a regular at Anokhi and had to compare. The Vicory wins in food (authentic Desi khanna) hands down. Exceptional staff and service. Beautiful flavours. Kheer to die for. Butter chicken wow!
The food was top notch ! We all get told that Indian food is not the healthiest for us , so if you are going to go for it ! Then do it with the best food ! The Viceroy give you that !

Had a feast at The Viceroy last night. Staff were courteous and very welcoming. We weren't rushed. The choice was wide and varied. The atmosphere was laughter and smiles...........and the food - absolutely delicious. 10/10 - Its just such a lovely place to relax and eat great food.
Went here tonight, and the food was lovely and the customer service was very friendly 10/10 to kamran who checked on us regularly and made sure we had everything we need. Definitely recommend this place

I've been coming to the viceroy for probably 4/5 years now, sometimes 3 times a wk, the staff are so welcoming and inviting and go out of their way to please you and make you feel at home, the food is amazing, the prices perfect, the atmosphere and decor is relaxing, i genuinely feel they couldn't improve anything as everything is top quality, having taken my mum for mothers day for the first time we will be going together once a mth as she loved it too �

We live in suffolk and the viceroy food is 1st class .
I have been eating 'Indian Food' for decades now, and I love it.
When we come up from Suffolk to visit the 'outlaws' in Derby we make sure that we get at least one visit to this establishment as it is honestly the best Indian (not Bangladeshi as 95% of these types of restaurants are) restaurant we have ever been to.
Delicious food and excellent service I would recommend to everyone.
A group of 8 of us had a truly wonderful meal here.
Superb poppadoms and pickles, followed by quality starters and excellent mains. Every single one of us loved the food.
Service was friendly, prompt and polite with a good level of interaction, and tolerance with our slightly boisterous group. Apologies if we were a little bit loud at times.
The restaurant is superbly appointed and looks real quality throughout.
My initial reaction to the bill was that it was an expensive place to eat. However, on reflection when choosing the quality of the food, the environment and the service it's a justified price.
Highly recommend the Viceroy.

The service was on point, food came out piping hot and was served in an acceptable time. The waiters/waitresses were very professional and catered to all put needs. Husband is gluten free and that wasn't a problem. Thanks guys

Great Meal and Excellent Service. First time we have visited the viceroy and we were really impressed. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was fantastic. Highly recommended.
The food was great in this place. Service was good too and the decor is nice. The prices are a bit high and the portion size could be bigger but all in all loved it and look forward to visit again.
I can happily say I have never had a bad experience from The Viceroy. As for the food quality, I would easily say this is my favourite curry house in Derby & the delivery is always on time, with the staff who deliver always friendly. I would highly recommend The Viceroy, especially the garlic chill lamb! You won't be disappointed!
A wonderful warm welcome, polite attentive staff. Food was hot, tasty and delicious. Very well presented and nice to have the first serving served.
