Came here on a whim during a night out for my Sister’s Birthday and we’re still talking about how delicious our meal was the day after. This has got to be the best Indian food I’ve ever tasted. Even the Naan bread came out in individual little envelopes instead of one big naan put on a plate (it’s the little things that impress me ha ha). The staff were on hand within seconds and couldn’t do enough for you. I very much highly recommend this restaurant.
It sounds like a great place to have a Indian or a curry and it looks and sound like a very excellent place.
we came here for christmas dinner,the starters and the currys were lush and the pudding was just amazing. the atmosphere was so calm and relaxing the staff were so friendly and helpfull. all i can say is roll on next christmas cause we will be back. xx
Fantastic Indian food! One of the best Indian meals we've had! The tandoori mixed grill has to be tried!! The garlic and chilli chicken was heavenly too!!

Four of us went last night,all had different dishes .was absolutely delicious, all freshly cooked ,meat was cooked to perfection. Brilliant value for money,really enjoyed it.will be going again for sure.

Found this place based on google reviews and it was the best thing about Derby. I’ve had Indian food in many a country and this was one of the best by far. Iqbal was very pleasant and accommodating. Background music was subtle and calming. I only wish I had space for more of the food. If you like Indian food, you need to order from here.
So, been here a few times now and honestly it's one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to in recent years. I have tried a few dishes and a few different starters and all have been good. Well cooked, fresh tasting, flavour packed and the curries are a very decent portion size too. The place seems to do a lot of takeaways and I haven't seen many people in when we visit so the atmosphere and service are not quite worthy of 5 stars. But if you just want good food, at pretty reasonable prices the this place is definitely worth a visit.

With visiting friends. Service was good, staff friendly and attentive. Food was very nice and not expensive saying its in the city centre and there is a taxi station right next door for easy excess home. We had a lovely evening and definitely be going again. Would recommend.

Masala is our favourite restaurant for a Indian meal weather it’s a eat in or takeout.Just ordered a takeaway and the lovely young lady who delivered our meal is so professional and courteous ,The best curry delivered with a smile lovely ,friendly service 👍.

We had a Christmas do here, we all had the Christmas menu deal. Mixed grill was one of the best I have had, not huge but perfect for a starter. The main you could choose from the main menu which is good that its not limited to cheaper dishes. The meet was plentiful and the sauces were nice and tasty with plenty of spices and flavor. Service was very good, even when it started to get busier later in the evening.
These people took a last minute booking for eight of us last Saturday. they couldn't do enough for us. The food was superb the price was right. Free glass of wine for the birthday girl and shots all round when we left. Perfect evening at this really nice restaurant.. will certainly return next time in Derby.
Had a wonderful time with my friends for my birthday. The food was cooked to perfection, meat cooked well and so tender. Garlic and cheese naan was to die for so succulent and full of cheese. Staff are very accommodating and professional and made sure all our needs were met. Polite and always on top with food and drinks!

What a hidden gem this place is, we were warmly welcomed by all the staff, the service was excellent, the waiter (Ray) that took our food order was helpful and very knowledgeable about the food. I will definitely be going here again.

Decor a bit tired could do with a bit of updating ,but if you can get past your first sight thoughts , the device is good reasonably priced, the food is fabulous well flavoured ,quality meat . We came in recommendation and really enjoyed it .
Fairly standard curry house. Service was ok, food was good, large portions. They wouldn't supply my colleague with a VAT receipt which was odd.
