Quality Ales, Gorgeous Food and brilliant Bar staff, Sophie is hilarious.

Really great food . There for Saturday lunch for a birthday .Very good menu a bit spoilt for choice! Settled on boeuf daube and pannetone bread and butter pudding .Will definitely go back .

Just had our first Sunday Lunch at the Bulls Head, Wilson. Will NOT be our last. We have tried lots of places for a good quality flavoursome Sunday Roast, and today we found it. The Beef was full of flavour and tender, the roasties and yorkies were homemade, and in their kitchen not some factories and shipped in. The veg was fresh and well cooked, and the gravy had got good flavour. All of the staff were friendly and efficient. The place was packed and we can see why, but the volume of people were all well served. The icing on the cake for my husband they had well kept Timothy Taylor’s ale. Thank you see you again soon.

Staff are very welcoming and helpful.
The menu is not huge (which I like) but is varied with something for everyone.
We will definitely be going back - it was how a pub should be - all the important elements are done well.

What a wonderful pub. We came across it by accident but a very happy accident. The owners are a really nice couple who did all they could to make us welcome. The staff are quite young but very mature in their customer service and so very polite and helpful. We ate in the evening and had very nice food. A huge piece of fish and an enormous burger. The only complaint, for us, was that the burger came on a board not on a plate but I know not everyone is in the 'bring back the plate' campaign. I'd say the prices are mid-range; not cheap but not so expensive that food or drink is prohibitive. We parked our motor home in the pub car park for two nights. This was for free but, of course, it is only polite to, at least, buy a couple of drinks. I managed to leave my handbag in the pub overnight! I telephoned in the morning and it turned out the lady cleaner found my bag and handed in to the kitchen staff where I then collected. Everything was still in the bag as I left it and I think this probably says it all about the pub, managers, staff, etc. They are just so nice, professional, kind and honest!

Had a family meal for 8of us. Sunday roast was delicious, starter of hummus, and olives. Main of roast pork belly and desert of sticky toffee pudding.
Fab service,warm and friendly atmosphere. Bar staff went beyond as I asked for cocktails not on the menu.

Went here for fathers day and there was a great atmosphere. The food was excellent, I had the rare beef and mash and it was fantastic.
The meat was a perfect cut and really tasty, would really recommend this dish.
Price was a very satisfying amount for the food we had.
The draught lager was very nice too, great taste and temperature.
Overall 10/10 will visit again.
Amazing place. So friendly and helpful. Even lent us a ladder to mend the roof on our motorhome. Food was amazing. Do they know how to cook meat. Pork and beef were best ever. Yes ever! Will be back definitely.
I popped in for dinner and the staff were very friendly and I ordered the Shepherds pie which was amazing and after chatting to the chef about other menu items I returned on the Friday and ordered the King prawn tomato and chilli linguine which he made with a smooth sauce as I don’t like all the lumps and asked how much spice I wanted. It was incredible and the focaccia bread was perfect for cleaning up the plate. I treated myself to a pudding and the vanilla panna cotta with chilli and cardamom pineapple with home made brandy snap was delicious and presented beautifully.
Cannot recommend enough.
Amazing food. Really attentive through the evening. Have eaten here many time and never had a bad meal. Lovely owners, lovely staff. Cannot fault the place at all. Really characteristic, they take a lot of effort with all customers. Honestly couldn’t get a better pub, whether it’s a big birthday celebration meal, a lunch for two, or just a few beers. Stopped off for a spot of lunch on our dog walk from Melbourne to Wilson. Couldn’t fault it. Excellent service, fantastic food and lovely outside area. Will definitely be back.

Stunning meal, ambient music and cosy atmosphere. The staff were so helpful and friendly. They promote mask wearing when at the bar.
