Visited here today after a morning at Donington Park. All I can say is wow! This place is faultless. The food, service and staff fantastic! We will definitely be returning sooner than later. Without a doubt well worth the hours drive. Probably the best food we have ever eaten in the UK. Thank you so much for a friendly welcome

My husband and I went in for a lunchtime meal today and sat in the bar area. I had the lasagne and my husband had the homemade burger. It was the best meal we've had out in a long time. It was a lovely atmosphere, friendly and very attentive staff. Thankyou, we had a fab time. Would definitely recommend.

What a gem of a pub. The food was excellent served at a very reasonable price by some of the nicest staff I have ever met.
Fantastic service as always. We always choose the Harrington as a family pub. The staff are very attentive, first class service and first class food. Brilliant Sunday lunch (Roast). Been recommended this place by many of my cycling buddies saying it's great and cycle friendly and can confirm it's all true lovely old style pub with nice big beer garden at back to enjoy a well earned coffee, they look like they do great food too but couldn't try anything as I wouldn't be able to ride after haha
Best roast lamb lunch I've had in ages. Tasty gluten free gravy and cauliflower cheese, the icing on the cake would be a Yorkshire pudding. Best
Gluten free banoffee meringue roulade for dessert. Will definitely go back again when I'm in the area. Attentive and friendly staff too. Shame you were out of rhubarb gin but no complaints.

Great little pub, great food, beer, excellent staff
Have just returned from a lovely lunch with friends. The food was excellent, pies ( proper pies with pastry all round ) , a few more veg would have been nice, fish and chips, trifle (yummy) and chocolate brownie. Service was really good, all staff friendly and efficient. We all had the lunchtime special, 2 courses for £14.95, which was really good value. Beer was good too. Will definitely return.
Stopped by this place for a quick drink today, beer was really tasty and good value for money. The atmosphere was really nice too. Its quite tight in some places though so one of the staff accidentally bumped the pram with a sleeping baby in it with a door. (He didn't wake up - phew!)
Parking was fantastic with a really large car park - plenty of space for lots of guests.
Wheelchair accessibility is not so great - there is sloped areas for accessing the pub but the walkways are pretty tight. I suppose if you were determined you could make it happen.
Have used this pub several times for sunday lunch, never had a bad one. Last two occasions we were welcomed by the new management, new menu up and running, still good value for money. Large car park. Pub has a good range of beer, lager and cider.
Excellent food, generous portion size.
Very tasty too.
They were happy to accommodate a sauce change on the dish ordered too.
Came to derby to visit my daughter she told me about this pub,also my grandson harry works there the Sunday lunch was superb only went for two courses but the home made soup was a delight well worth the trip up to derby would highly recomend.

A great local pub. Visited for a private party and we were well looked after. All staff were friendly and professional. Food was superb. The pie was loaded with meat and was very tasty. Nothing was a problem for the staff. 2 enjoyable ales were available (Harvest Pale and Bass).

A lovely old public house with good drinks and food. Fast service from a group of friendly staff. Large carpark at the back and outdoor seating and eating area for nice summer days. There is a small village pantry shop attached for coffee and cake

Came here on the way to the Trance In The Woods event nearby I am glad I tried an Ale and decent price too really wished I was able to try the food out but was running late as it was. The staff are all lovely and made me feel welcome would visit again.
Fantastic Sunday roast. A must try real gem! Great value and delicious home cooked food. The rib eye beef roast is so soft and delicious. Will visit again soon

We visited for the first time since the pub changed hands, everyone is really friendly and helpful, the chef cares about his food and the new decor is fab.
