Came in for lunch today .late notice but managed to get 4 of us in ,food was amazing we only had mains but all finished it off ,lamb was beautiful ,so was the beef and chicken .100% will be going back ,service was great and the interior design is beautiful ! Love it ,highly recommend.
Literally cannot rate Brown's high enough. The food was amazing, the service was amazing and to top it off the restaurant itself is amazing! Will defiantly be coming back here and recommending it to everyone that will listen!

Wow this is a gem 💎 on our doorstep! Absolutely the best dining I have experienced in a long time in Derby, you don't find many class restaurants now but this is up there! Try the slow Cooked pork belly with the crispest crackling you will ever wish to find. And I will add to this very reasonable three courses for two with drinks on arrival and a bottle of wine £75 I would expect that to be £50 a head for the quality we received, hats off to the front of house for making us so welcome, the waiting on staff for being so friendly and the two chefs for the fabulous food! Well done ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

As a veggie, there was an interesting choice. The apple and cinnamon creme brûlée was amazing. It was fantastic value too; three courses with alcoholic drinks came to £30 per head.
The service was brilliant. I’d definitely recommend Browns for Sunday lunch or a special occasion.
Heard lots of very positive reviews about Brown's. Pictures on Facebook looked great. Finally got round to trying it. We were not disappointed.
Nice decor, friendly professional staff. Food beautiful . Pork belly one of the best I've ever had. Struggled to choose from the menu so definitely need to go again.

Organised a Birthday dinner with a group here. We were 8 of us and all of us thought Browns Restaurant was a perfect choice. Beautiful and clean, posh and cosy with stylish interior. The food was excellent, all the three courses were exceptional. Freshly made and delicious. Very helpful and friendly staff. Will definitely return. Spot on �

Hidden diamond off a restaurant.Wouldn't expect it from small entrance which opens up to a free car park and tidy smart building. Inside nicely deco but more important the food was excellent,staff and owner were helpful nice and pleasant.Had Sunday lunch roast beef and vegetables was cooked just right not over or under done. Highly recommended.

I've been visiting Brown's Restaurant since it opened, taking many of our family and friends over the years. It has been my absolute favourite place. The standard and quality of the food and service has been outstanding. My favourite has to be the Sunday roast. The Valentine's evening was exceptional. Lunch on. Saturday and the champagne breakfasts absolutely devine. Your final event was amazing and myself and my friend had the best time. Wishing you all the very best for the future. Yvonne Green

Very comfortable, with friendly service and nicely cooked, well presented food.
The traditional Sunday Roast is excellent, and there are two/three course priced menus.
The wine list is very good, with some niche wines at great value prices.

My friend booked this as a belated birthday gift for Sunday lunch. Great atmosphere, interior and super cosy for Sunday lunch. The staff and the manager provided an excellent friendly service ensuring all our needs were met. I will definitely be going back. My friend came from Liverpool and said it was well worth it 😊. The food was absolutely delicious, great portion sizes and excellent value for money. Thank you to everyone at Browns keep up the excellent work.
Food good and well looked after by Gemma. However, not a suitable restaurant for people with mobility problems due to steep stairs inside. Several people were concerned about them and two friends could not join us as there was no lift.
Food was very good apart from the roast potatoes which were OK but fairly taste less. Beef was lovely. Surprisingly today service was very slow especially our starters and no one brought a wine list until we asked. All in all though the staff are lovely and we'll go again!
After pandemic travel delays and previous two years of unsuccessful attempts to get a reservation. On a recent visit to our home town we had a traditional Sunday Dinner with family at Browns. The facility, staff and food were all first class, well worth the wait and flight from Canada!
