The food here is gorgeous. Home made style instead of the usual 'mass produced'. Chips were fantastic. Meals were good size and value for money. Large choice. Of drinks and not over priced Staff are very accommodating. Inside and outside area . Very pleasant evening.
We only went to this pub because we had been let down at our planned place. We were so glad. The staff were welcoming and friendly whilst maintaining efficient service. We were served hearty pub grub at very reasonable prices. Hats off.
A summery Monday lunch and we popped in to grab a bite to eat.
Staff were very nice, lots of choice to order from the menu and beer was spot on too!
Garden had good shade and was well kept.

My son and daughter in law took me here today for Sunday lunch...it was very good indeed..we all said we will come back next time I visit them..food was delicious and plentiful..what more can a you ask.

It's my local but not in there every week . Not had the food but always looks nice when others have ordered . Always something going on in there and Friday nights open mic night is very good but don't take my word for it , get in there and try it yourselves , 😉
I changed from my usual (Lasagne = the Holy grail) reluctantly to try the Korean bbq chicken and egg fried rice from the specials menu. And I was not disappointed. It was delicious!! Hopefully it will be on the specials frequently! X
What a great pub, visited here Saturday night I had the lasagne and chips. The lasagne was lovely and the homemade chips best I've ever had in a pub. They had a band on, who where great had the whole pub dancing. Superb pub great staff and landlord ! Will definitely go back. Bet they do a cracki
Great food, you might have to wait a little bit .. but if you want decent food and home cooked chips (rather than oven chips) then you will enjoy.
Well what can I say...DO NOT GET RID OF THE CHEF...fab choices on the Menu served by lovely friendly staff. Had the Sizzling Prawn Stir Fry which contained in excess of 10 prawns which were perfectly cooked...will definitely be returning to try the Tapas Menu...worth a visit? ABSOLUTELY!!! The Amb
