The Sun Inn in Dent is the most welcoming and atmospheric pub in the village. The pub has proper food, it's not pretentious, and welcomes dogs, relaxing atmosphere and the staff know how to pull a decent pint of ale...We recommend Monumental. We have been coming her for a number of years, first review I have ever written because, this is the place I would recommend to my friends. Thank you.

The only place on earth that does a true Cumberland sausage. Travelled from Keighley for one. The beers always spot on as well.

I have just returned from an amazing weekend in Dent with friends playing music. I have to say that staff were so friendly and helpful even during their busy times. I unfortunately had a bad experience with a member of staff there in the past. It was so different this time. Well done to everyone working in the pub last weekend, you were all spot on. Looking forward to returning soon.

There's no food here ! You made me miss! I never missed that board in my life before. You'd better go! Stay off the moors, stick to the roads and beware the moon lads! A fun pub with a warm fire πŸ˜πŸ‘ and jolly folk. No campers were actually bitten by werewolves during this Halloween review.

Nice selection of cask and draught available. Inside decor is comfortable and classic. Cask was too warm to enjoy sadly but would love to come back in the winter.

Lovely friendly pub in just the best location. Family friendly, comfortable and authentic. Great staff and could spend hours relaxing with a pint and bag of pork scratchings. UTFT! Gets better with every visit, get in there and spend some money and help out a great local business.

Stayed here for 3 nights .if you're expecting the ritz in London, don't book here .But what they lack in quality they back up with brilliant service .only 3 staff , that literally do everything and can't be more helpful. Staying here for a couple of days old building so creaky floors. We have the 1 en suite room. The other 3 rooms have a shared loo and shower. No food only breakfast which is really good. Joff is a great manager and very amenable. If you want luxury accommodation this isn't for you, but if you like comfy bed and a good breakfast and aren't worried about a bit of mould here and there you like it here

I stayed here with a friend Friday-Sunday, and really enjoyed our stay! All the staff were so kind and humble - as soon as we came in, we were offered a beer and showed to our rooms. We had a twin bedroom and the beds were so comfy! There were plenty of towels, pillows and blankets provided, with a TV, tea and coffee facilities, sink and storage space. The view was also so cute! We weren't able to have breakfast the first morning, due to having to leave early, but we were offered a packed lunch in place of this. We did manage to have breakfast the following morning, with a selection of cereals, toast, eggs and a full English (veggie option available) - very nice! Wanted to try their lunch and evenibg menu, as the specials sounded great! Also managed to use the shower - best shower ever after climbing those mountains! Would definitely come back, highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
