Very cosy country pub in the Pennines above Oldham. There is a nice farm shop too. Well worth a stop and a drink. Good service and prices. Great views. Thanks.
This is a great country pub with an outstanding views from the parking lot as well as the pub. Food was exceptional, and very friendly service. Will definately return in the future.
Amazing food in a stunningly picturesque location! We've both driven past this pub many times but never stopped for food, but we'll definitely be stopping again after this! I had the peppered steak pie, my girlfriend had the meat platter (and took half home for the next day's lunch!) And we shared t
Late afternoon visit after a walk. Dog friendly, old style local bub with a farm shop attached. Great food, service and atmosphere, would recommend to most but not a rowdy town establishment.
Update to review Had the sea bass this time and was delicious Sunny day today great view
We arrived a little early for our reservation but was showed through to a table. Drinks and menus were given almost straight away (despite not officially being open yet). A hard choice for us both as everything sounded delicious! I went for the Pie of the Day which was chicken, ham (unsmoked) and ve
Absolutely loved our visits to The Rams Head Inn. Food is always delicious, and served beautifully. Owner and staff are always there to help make recommendations, and they are very attentive. I particularly loved their lamb dish, which was divine! Plenty of parking outside, and easy to find! Beautif
Amazing pub / restaurant, with extremely friendly staff and would highly recommend to anyone. The food is simply amazing and majority of it locally produced. Cracking beers of offer and a great wine list too. Great for all sorts of groups and during the day a nice pit stop for walkers and cyclists
After a 15km trek over the moors on a frozen and wet day, this could not have hit the spot any better. I walked in to the warmest place. Not just aesthetically, but actually. The log fired pot belly stove radiated warmth that was just calling my name. And after a great meal, I bought a few wee extra
The roast needs mash! And I feel £7.95 for a dessert is a little steep. 😳 Other than that, food is well presented and good quality 👍
Excellent fish and chips, highly recommended. Staff are friendly and attentive and the views of the hills are an added bonus.
super friendly staff 5 star. Food great but expensive!
always great food with quality ingredients, warm welcoming staff and beautiful views . highly recommended.
Outstanding setting with the most amazing views. The shop sells many things and all the bread, pies etc are home made. The pub and restaurant food is outstanding. It really is lovely. The staff were nice Ring and book unless your going to sit outside. We will be back

The Ram's Head never disappoints. Been a while since we came but just had another lovely meal. I feel this is still a much undiscovered gem. Only £6 or £7 in a taxi from Uppermill, Shaw, Milnrow and you're in the middle of the hills, great scenary, lovely food and great service. No excuse not to pay
Nice little gem tucked away in the countryside, good food and good service. Also a nice little shop full of delights.
