Popped in yesterday after about 30 years! What an absolute treat, very friendly staff, quick service, gorgeous food, water provided on all tables and a beautifully decorated cosy pub with lots of comfortable places to sit. Without doubt we will definitely be returning very soon. Thanks for everything

We popped in for a drink and ended up having a meal. Which I have to say beautiful. I had the lamb and my other half had the stuffed chicken. Both were lovely. Well worth a visit and beautiful setting xx

My 8 month-old baby and I were not making good time back to lancaster and the 15 min warning for food came clearly from her... This pub looked nice from the outside and the friendly table tennis club woman was ok with me abandoning my van and trailer at the hall! The staff were SO helpful, kind and understanding of the need to get food and quickly!!! A cushion was brought for Eva to make the high chair more comfortable, the peas were mixed in to the mash so she could eat it more easily, the prospect of any mess was quickly met with ‘it doesn’t matter at all, we have a dustpan and brush and we’ll clear it up, it’s fine’. The food was excellent - tasty, tender steak in the pie and seriously good buttery mash! The lady who had been dealing with us even offered to stay with Eva whilst I whizzed to the ladies. A real class act this place with big-hearted human beings doing a great job of providing food, drink and a warm welcome.

Me and Hubby called into the Junction yesterday late afternoon, and had a delicious meal. The cheese and onion pie is to die for, and hubby had the rag pudding. We have been in a few times now, and will be going in again. The fires were lit, and it was very cosy. Brilliant service, reasonably priced. 👍👍👍👍

Fabulous pub! If you're travelling past Manchester, stop here. The interior is also beautifully decorated!! But the food was amazing. The chicken & Leek pie is lovely with the gravy & my husband loved his huge piece of fish wish homemade tartar sauce. The waitress was so lovely & attentive also. Great place!

First time visit whilst visiting family in local area. What a fab find this was! Welcoming, friendly staff, great atmosphere, my meal of pan fried sea bream on a bed of crushed new potatoes was one of the best I've had in ages. Fish & chips is huge! Super dog friendly pub with a doggy menu so our dog got her own meal of sausage & crispy bacon, which she loved. We will definitely be back!

Had a delicious Sunday roast with a group of friends after a relaxing (if drizzly) walk in the beautiful countryside nearby. Its a lovely, traditional English country pub. Service & food are excellent & the prices are not expensive. Will definitely visit again. To all the staff, thanks for your hard work.

Went for a meal with my husband. It was so delicious, all three courses. Pàte starters, rag pudding chips and mushy peas, followed by ginger and apple cake with ice cream. Staff were lovely and the place was beautiful! Will definitely be going back.
