The food was nice. Reasonably priced Varied menu choices. The food was very hot. Poached eggs were overcooked. Fairly quick service. All served in Denby dishes. Coffee was lovely. Breakfast is ordered at the counter and they'll bring it to your table. Staff were friendly. The cafe was very busy.

Amazing roast dinner - crispy roasties, loads of meat, the best cauliflower cheese! Great portion size and only £12. Going to recommend to all my friends and family

My husband and I took Afternoon Tea at Bourne's restaurant this afternoon. We were very impressed. There was a good selection of sandwiches, which were freshly made and well presented. The scones were massive and scrumptious.the There was a choice of cake and also macaroons. These were all delicious. There was unlimited tea or coffee. We were even offered to take anything home that we couldn't eat. Everything was served in beautiful, colourful Denby Pottery. The staff were welcoming and attentive and the service was excellent. Although we have visited the Denby village outlet on many, many occasions before, but we had never had afternoon tea. Definately will partake again. Thank you for the great experience. .

Enjoy a visit here from time to time. Food is good and there is plenty of variety on the menu. Always generous portions too! I will no doubt be back in the near future. A visit to Denby Pottery Village is really enjoyable experience.

We love the food and the atmosphere here but the one thing that stops us going back is that the place is freezing cold. They never have any heating on - and when it's close to freezing outside you want to be able to warm up.

Contrary to the two previous reviews my visit to Bourne's restaurant was a pleasant experiance. The food was hot and good portion size and to my surprise there were gluten free options. The restaurant has the Food Standards Agency top score of 5 for hygene. Good value too.

A lovely cafe in the heart of the denby pottery. It's one of those rare places where you can have a cream tea with their own Denby pottery cutilley served at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend their afternoon tea special, but you will need to give them a 24hrs notice for this.

For people not familiar with this part of Derbyshire this is actually Denby Pottery - Bourne was the original name! I love Denby ware and at the moment there's up to 70% off their warehouse items - I've just bought 8 Denby mugs for less than £30 I'm well chuffed!
