This was our first visit to this lovely café and it won’t be the last. This is a lovely area to park up and enjoy a walk through Delamere Forest. The lovely railway station building has been tastefully set out to accommodate a cosy eatery. We came for a hearty breakfast and we were not disappointed. A varied breakfast menu to accommodate all tastes and dietary requirements was perfect as we had one all day traditional and one vegetarian option breakfast. The coffee and tea that we ordered was piping hot as was the delicious breakfast. Pleasant staff made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you.

Enjoyed a wonderful Immersive Sound Bath experience at Delamere Station Cafe. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Claire made us very welcome and explained the whole process which enabled us to immediately relax and get the best from the session. I will definitely be booking on the next session. I’ve visited the cafe many times and enjoyed some delicious meals in a great setting. The desserts are amazing and the ice cream parkour is always a special treat after a walk in Delamere. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. Great secure parking and easy access to the building and facilities. Well worth a visit and check out the other special experience workshops activities on the web site. X

On our way back from North Wales, whilst looking for Delamere Lake we stumbled on this absolute delight of a station cafe located within Delamere Station old building. A vast array of tasty foods and drinks for everyone's liked and even better, it's excellent value for money. Forget going to the cafe near the lake and paying over a fiver for parking. We had a large slice of custard, scone with cream and jam ( freshly baked) , large pot of tea ( enough for 3 cups) and a cappuccino coffee for less than a tenner !

Great little cafe offering great food, cakes and drinks. The outside seating area is lovely in nice weather. Very handy if you travel to Delamere by train as the Chester bound platform is the other side of the building

Very friendly and helpful staff, very tidy and clean. Recommend Lamb burger, delicious nice flavours. Very good selection of cakes , option to eat in or staff happy to give you a bag to go , if you wanted to. Would definitely return, perfect place to eat before concert, before/after walk in the forest.

On a picturesque Sunday morning stroll in sunny Delamere, we were delighted to stumble upon Delamere House Café. With the sun shining down and the sound of chirping birds, the allure of hot chocolates for the little ones and rich coffees for the adults was irresistible. The bacon butties and sausage butties were simply divine - hearty and flavorful, leaving a mark of satisfaction. Even amidst a noticeable queue, the service was swift and stellar, ensuring minimal wait times. A special shoutout to the veggie stack - an absolute treat for the taste buds. If you find yourself in Delamere forest, I cannot recommend Delamere House Café enough for a delightful pitstop. We’ll certainly be making a return visit.

Delamere and Blakemere are fantastic areas for all kinds of outdoor activities for any age and the best way to end a visit there is a visit to the Station House. All day breakfast, toasties, everything but the best choice is the home made soup. Just the ticket if you've been out on a cold day. There's even a dog friendly section and a Snugbury's ice cream shop on site too.

I visited with a couple of cycling friends on a Thursday. We arrived about 10:30am and it was very quiet. There was no queue to get served. Service was very friendly and helpful. There was only one person on the counter who took the food order and then made the drink before moving to the next customer. This wasn't a problem for us. However, I could imagine it taking some time to get served when the place is busy. Anyway our food arrived very quickly. My veggie sausages (3) on a bap were delicious, and my friends enjoyed their food too (beans on toast & egg on toast). I drink coffee when I am out and was given a choice of filtered coffee or ground coffee (barrister type). I opted for a two shot americano. It came in a mug and was very good. My bill came to £9.80. When you take into account the location, we thought the prices were very reasonable. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. There is a large car park next to the cafe that I am guessing people use to catch the train as there were way more cars than people in the cafe. The road (B5152) to the cafe from Hatchmere for cyclists (apart from a couple of hundred metres) is in very poor condition. Obviously, this has nothing to do with the cafe. I just made mention of it for the benefit of any cyclists who read this review. The road from the A556 / Chester Rd is 100% in better condition. Before we left, I had cause to use the mens room, and I am pleased to say the bathroom was very clean and tidy. It's a lovely cafe with lovely surroundings and well worth a visit.

Lovely little cafe , food was delicious. A couple of items missing off the menu but what we got was served fresh and piping hot. A little on the expensive side but was worth the money. Lovely little dog friendly area in the rear of the cafe, great for when u have finished a nice long walk.

Stopped for breakfast here several times. A great place with friendly staff and delicious meals. They also serve some very tasty ice cream from one end of the station house.

Lovely café right at the station, serving beverages, snacks and cakes. Took a while before they came to take our order, but the protein pancakes and scone were fabulous when they arrived. Clearly very dog friendly.
