We booked out a group of rooms here for our wedding last month. The team were very accommodating and the whole process was very smooth and organised. The breakfast included was varied and plentiful, really nice to get a choice of cooked breakfast too rather than a standard full English. The rooms were good, some guests said some were a little tired/dated but certainly fit for purpose. Great location and a gorgeous village. Service for the evening meal and lunch was a little slow

Really nice place to stay. Wasn't expecting the huge four poster bed in the spacious room (not sure all rooms provide that!). Pleasant restaurant, decent ales in the bar, lovely breakfast and very friendly staff. Recommended 👍

Clean and friendly in a beautiful area. Only ennoying thing is that every single day you had to go to the bar and reactivate the cards to open the door. Seems to be standard as other guests also reported.

Lovely location in the heart of Deddington. 3 persons staying for a family visit. The restaurant and service were exceptional, the breakfast menu was extensive and we tried the full English on the first morning which was excellent. We also ate twice in the restaurant and menu choice there was delicious. The restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. My Mum had the room with the walk in shower which was spacious and comfortable. My husbands and my room was disappointing. The bed was very comfortable but both rooms especially ours needed updating. Our bathroom was clean but very dated. The shower head needed replacing as the water was a single torrent although water was lovely and hot. The bath was very narrow and we had to stand pigeon toed in it under the shower. I only drink herbal tea so a variety of teas would have been nice as would sachets of hot chocolate. I have had these in other hotels I've stayed in. I understand the hotel is an old, quaint building and it was very popular with guests but the rooms need modernising especially the bathrooms without losing the hotels charm. All in all though, we enjoyed our stay and I would've given 5 stars but our room needed that extra touch of luxury that I have experienced in other hotels of the same price range.

We were part of a large pre wedding party, so the staff had plenty to do. Drnks order was taken minutes after being seated and the food order soon after the drinks arrived. All the meals arrived within a very reasonable time and were of a high standard - well presented and tasty. We were well looked after by Adele and Angelo, who were polite, friendly and efficient. Surroundings are traditional pub but cosy and comfortable. A very positive experience.

We had a very pleasant weekend in lovely Deddington. Great size room with a fabulous wooden 4-poster bed, in keeping with the building's 16th century charm. The room was tucked away up a little 'secret' staircase. Although the pub is at the roadside, there was very little traffic through the village so we had a peaceful night. The hotel thoughtfully provided a fan which we made good use of as the weather had suddenly turned soooo hot! The hardworking staff were friendly and helpful and made sure we were well fed - both dinner and breakfast were excellent.

Stayed for one night. Deddington Arms is in a lovely location in the heart of the town. The bar was comfortable with a log fire and good choice of beers. We had a very good evening meal with several options on the menu. The breakfast was also excellent with plenty of choice and was worth the stay on its own. Our room was clean and comfortable although the bathroom could do with an update. We would stay here again and use as a base for visiting Oxfordshire.

Interior decoration is absolutely lovely, old, historic and romantic. The service was fast and the cook absolutely Brilliant! I ve celebrated my birthday their, as well. It was a great success and I ve got few honey bee jars as present. Highly recommended.

Friendly and attentive service. Food was good with generous but not oversized portions. Beer was good, cellar cooled real ale. Dining area was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel for a decent meal.
