Such an amazing place to eat!! The cook and his wife are so nice! A place to go in Deal for sure. We are the pork and the chicken with rice and peas, with plantain and we really enjoyed. With reggae music on the top… it was perfect. Eating on the parking is not the best view, but it is so “good and simple” that nothing else matters.
Absolutely delicious food, so tasty that I forgot to take a picture! Beautifully marinated, tender chicken, such gorgeous flavours. Had a cheeky Mac n cheese on the side too - we love everything Soul Chef cooks up. Thanks so much for making Deal tastier.

Finally made it back to Deal and first stop was here!
Foods always delicious here and wasn't disappointed, there was a couple of changes to the menu since my first visit but still great quality and choices.
Definitely look out for the brown pork stew, it was amazing.
The rum cake is incredible too.
The company does do pop up kitchens around the town and local areas so check with them to avoid being disappointed.

Stumbled across this establishment by pure luck on Google maps and what a ture delight it turned out to be, definitely a great addition to the area.
Booked a table for 2 which are set up in the cozy bar area of the Theatre.
As big fans of Caribbean cuisine we decided to go for the Ultimate BBQ box, Which was amazing!
The meat was seasoned well and succulent, fresh with a colourful presentation. Perfect rice and chips with lovely flavours accompanied by a delicious tropical slaw, plus beautiful moreish coconut fried dumplings, only problem we only got 2 we definitely could have falsed 1 more down.
Seriously though there's a lot of food served in the BBQ box and easily feeds 3 persons.
Now my own personal constructive criticism was the ribs was a tad to salty for my liking and I prefer my brisket a bit more tender but hey it is pretty good considering its cooked on a BBQ, Everything else was perfect !!
The owners are lovely people who are polite, attentive and professional.

Theres also a couple of interesting drinks sold here, the ZOBO pale ale and KAKAO stout. ZOBO was my favourite, very refreshing indeed and worth a try.
Amazing Jamaican food. We had the pork and chicken rice boxes and the portions were very big. The pork was a little fat for my liking but tasted amazing regardless as did the chicken. The chicken wings were great value, as you get 5 full wings for around £6
Discovered this little gem by accident, the menu choices all looked amazing, but decided to go for one of the special vibes " fully loaded reloaded" which consists of Soul Chef fries topped with jerk chicken, jerk pork, jerk pork sausage, mac n cheese. Portion size was perfect, and food, delicious, will definitely be returning to try the other menu choices
Caribbean food by the sea what’s not to like.
What can I say other than it was amazing. Not being able to decide what to have went for the boneless box, and it did not disappoint. Had everything from jerk chicken, rice n peas, to jerk pork and jerk brisket!!. Mix all that with a couple of red stripes and a beach Saturday evenings don’t get much better. Will be heading back very soon

Unassuming location, superb BBQ food! Fresh, spicy (or mild) options, really impressed - deserves to do well. Had the 'One Man Band' dish.
Ordered the meaty ting box! This was the best jerk food I have ever tasted! The pork just melted in the mouth And everything tasted great! Even presented lovely too
