Booked in with our motorhome last night, no food because of a chef shortage but the pitch was good and the facilities perfectly acceptable. The welcome and hospitality was what makes the place. James and Holly are excellent hosts and the locals are friendly and good company!
A huge thank you to the Plough and Harrow team for a perfect stay before our ferry crossing. Lovely pub and camping pitches, and the team even fed us great food even though we arrived after the kitchen had closed. Definitely will stay again!
We had a lovely overnight stay in one of The Plough and Harrow's Glamping pods, which provided a wonderful glamping experience. The pod was clean and cozy, creating a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere.
However, we were a little let down to discover that the pub stopped serving food after 16:00 o
Ideal place to spend the night before heading to Dover or a short stay to explore Kent. The whole site, showers, toilets are super clean and modern. The pub offers good value meals, cold beer and a friendly atmosphere.
Great place for a stopover on way to ferry at Dover. Lovely view. Adequate size pitch. If you expect food check first as the chef absconded recently
Pleasant and tranquil setting. Staff are friendly welcoming and generous. Owner/manager is a real genuine person and very accommodating!

Squeaky clean, quiet, peaceful, comfy and simple. The pods have just what you need, with 6 USB charging hubs along with a sizeable sink and storage. In the bathroom, more storage along with a modern shower. Outside the pods, there is a green space individualized and with privacy to have a warm barbe

Under New Management - We came across this restaurant by accident after a day in Deal. We happened to come on opening day and were so surprised by the amazing food! Presentation was great and tasted excellent! Well worth a visit especially if you are in the area! If you are venturing down the coast
Just stopped in for a drink in passing. Bar is basic but comfortable and friendly. We got a warm welcome and a nice pint!
We booked this place as a quick (and cheap) stop over on our way to the ferry at Dover and have accidentally stumbled upon an absolute gem!
