Fantastic place to stop for a drink or a meal.
Service was excellent, every member of staff had a pleasant and attentive manner.
Food was faultless, there is an excellent variation in choice so you will definitely find something you fancy.
Also doing Sunday roasts soon so will be heading back to give them a try.
Excellent play area outside for the kids and a really nice outdoor seating area that you can dine at as well.
Inside Bettshanger Park. Really nice Lamp Room cafe/bar with lots of outdoor seating for nicer days. Amazing rustic decor. The Miners breakfast was a tad small for £11. The breakfast brioche roll, bacon very good. Nice oat milk cappuccino. Nice clean toilets, but outside the cafe near the entrance to the centre.
I’ve eaten here a few times now and the service is always excellent. The food is delicious and good quality, using local suppliers and well worth the money. This is my new favourite place, highly recommend.
Perfect friendly efficient staff who were very attentive and cheerful. Made it a very positive experience, will certainly return. Food was excellent.
Mia, what a fantastic memeber of the team,a very pleasant young lady who was under so much pressure but kepted her smile & was very polite to every customer, she kepted the team going with directing them.Without this lady i think the whole experience would of been dreadful, she interacted with everybody! This has made me want to visit again as she has made today a lovely experience dispite the long que 😊
Stopped in for lunch but food service stopped at 3pm so we had cake and coffee which was delicious. Staff were polite and friendly will definitely be back for some breakfast or lunch soon.
Had the pulled pork brioche bun, absolutely delicious! Will be returning, lovely venue as well.

Lovely cafe and great food. Need a few better vegan options but really good. Only reason for 4 stars is service was super slow and we had to ask for drinks lots of times. Staff were really friendly
Lovely fit-out, smiley staff and very good value food. The roast and club sandwich were extremely nom. Look out for their loaded fries, wowsers! Baby high-chairs also available.
Have eaten here a few times - the food quality is really good - there are issues with wait times sometimes and the customer service 'friendliness' is variable - today ordered from the menu, food arrived, wasn't as described (the two patty beef burger came with one patty) queried this to be told the menus changed - pointed out that the menu hadn't changed or were we told this when ordering only to be given a shrug of the shoulders. Visited the bathroom with my daughter too, both cubicles really disgusting - obviously that's not their fault and they were responsive when reporting it but for the type of venue/prices would expect them checked more regularly.
But don't want to slam them, just think there's things that could improve - the food itself is really good, decent quality and never had a complaint with that which I guess is the most important thing.
Can't rate this place highly enough, lovely decor, great staff, kid friendly. Have good options for people with dietary requirements.
