The best breakfast we have ever had. Lovely surroundings. The food was beautifully presented and was cooked to perfection. Very attentive and friendly staff. To top it all, excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend and will certainly be going back again.

Stayed here for 5 days and all I can say is what a lovely place it is the breakfast was outstanding and even though we sometimes didn’t get up in time for breakfast they always accommodated us and when we got home late of a night and asked for a drink they had no problem in doing so! I will definitely be staying here again, very welcoming and the owner is just a gent

Just returned back from our break in Deal and I couldn't be more happy with my choice of hotel. Lovely view to the sea and the pier. The room was spacious, very clean and the bathroom had a great big bath which my toddler loved. Breakfast was freshly cooked (continental breakfast choices were on offer too). The staff was very friendly and just easy to deal with. Definitely will use again!

Special deal in Deal. Waterfront Hotel was everything and more. A lovely room. Comfy beds, clean sheets, free wifi, all we needed and a beautiful sea view with the sound of the gentle waves lulling us to sleep with the perfect wake up...opening our curtains to the sun's reflection on the sea breaking out from the clouds! Polite, friendly, helpful staff and a yummy great big breakfast! Thank you x

We went here last night to celebrate our daughters A-Level results. The staff were very friendly and a lovely gesture from the hote when we arrived of a :well done balloon , a card and a cake to our daughter from The Waterfront . This made the evening in more special and cannot thank the staff enough for doing this. Food was lovely , big portions and well worth the money. Will be back x

About two weeks ago in September my husband and I had booked four nights. On the third night my husband was taken ill. The owner/manager was brilliant. He could not have been more helpful. Called an ambulance and looked after our luggage whilst we were at the hospital a few days. Nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed our first two nights in our clean, comfortable, and spacious room, with a lovely sea view. Everything to hand on the tea tray. Lovely friendly staff served a good breakfast who made sure we had a table in front of the window to view the sea and the pier. We liked the the hotel very much being quiet. One of the nicest we have stayed in. Agree completely with Anne Jones review four months ago. Throughly recommend. Hope to return sometime, when next in Kent.

Stayed here first time couple of weeks ago and very much enjoyed my stay. Found the stairs a bit steep but was able to get help with suitcases etc. Wonder position on seafront. View from breakfast room just perfect. Great value for money.

What an amazing Sunday roast dinner we had today, nothing fancy, just a good honest plate of lovely old school food and mountains of it too. The beef was so tasty and my partners pork belly was huge and cooked to absolute perfection, with a good selection of vegetables and a large home cooked Yorkshire pudding and lashings of deep gravy. The service was first class with the staff being attentive but not pushy, thankyou to all involved for making our lunch so enjoyable, we're looking forward to visiting you again soon, 5*

Great service (late check in was no problem). Room was simple but clean and provided all I needed. Perfect location (right on beach allowing for a morning swim) with convenient council parking nearby. Just a shame I didn’t have time to try the breakfast. Thanks a lot!

First off my regards go out to the helpful and accommodating staff. They made the short stay we had extra pleasant. The room we had was very good and surprisingly spacious. Well ventilated, clean and tidy and all in all very nice. The location is superb. You literally step outside on to the pier. And it's bang in the middle of the town. I'm likely to book this same place if we stay over in Deal again.

Firstly, the place is lovely and clean. The staff were all very friendly and they let us check in early too. It’s a bit of time warp and if you’re looking for something high end it’s not for you but the location is amazing, our room had a sea view and was a simple walk across the road to the beach. For the price it’s excellent value and the breakfast was good, cooked to order and you can choose full English, eggs Benedict or eggs royale; plus a selection of cereals and yoghurts to help yourself too.

This is a basic but very clean hotel in a great position on the seafront by the pier. Room was simple, comfortable and clean. Plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. Bottles of water in the room also a nice touch. We were en-suite but the shared bathrooms seemed fine. Breakfast was particularly good. Cereal and yogurt/fruit plus the cooked choices were excellent. Full english and Eggs Benedict was really lovely and cooked beautifully. Nice little bar. Restaurant/evening meals looked good although not tried. Overall a very nice experience and stay plus reasonably priced.

Lovely hotel right on the seafront, warm welcome when we arrived and all the staff were really helpful. We had room 15 which was an ensuite room and really Nice, bed was a little soft for us but that's just personal choice. They breakfast was well cooked and plenty of it. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay here, the staff are all friendly and helpful, the room was perfect for our needs and breakfast was very good. The location was great for us ,with our favourite restaurant less than five minutes walk away and the high street even closer.

Had a brilliant stay here l felt cosy warm and safe. Breakfast was good brought to the table and was hot. There was an option to serve your cereal, juice and yogurt. Only a couple of minuses but they were really nit picking things. I would really consider this hotel again if I came to Deal. I'm going to say it again it was brilliant and loved my stay. Happy Days :)

I'm on the last night of a 3 night stay and have had a lovely time here. My room is very well appointed, with plenty of points for phone and device charging, hair-dryer and toiletries. The room and ensuite (shower/loo/washbasin ) are super-clean and the tea tray (with water, tea/coffee and biscuits) has been replenished daily by housekeeping. Very comfortable bed and nice firm pillows. Staff have been without exception very helpful and friendly and also responded to questions we had (eg re parking etc) promptly and helpfully. Good WiFi available for the whole of your stay and accessible in your room at no extra cost ( unlike some corporate chain type hotels). Breakfast has been great. A proper menu including fish options and eggs benedict - really good- thank you- perfect poached eggs. Location near the pier is ideal. There's no parking, but we booked the 3 days we needed in advance in station carpark a short walk away. £20 for 3 days. The hotel is a lovely old building right on the sea front. As an old building, not everything is modern, but I like the individuality of a place like this. On the walls are old and current pictures of Deal. It is a welcoming and individual place to stay and I liked it very much and will hopefully return (for more coastal walking) This is not a uniform but soulless place like a Premier or Travelodge, and in my opinion, so much better for that. There's space for both kinds of hotel, and I hope that one-off small hotels like the Waterfront will continue to thrive.

We stayed in the family room that slept 4, one double bed and a set of bunk beds for kids in one room with ensuite shower, sink and toilet. It was nice a clean and well made up. The food in the restaurant was amazing and the staff were lovely. Right on the seafront. Lots to do in the area. Would recommend.
