The kings head is a great place to have a drink, great food and friendly staff. And it's a great place to be on a sunny day! Just a stones throw away from the beach. Definitely a must go to for a drink and something to eat. You won't be disappointed.
Every time we come to deal we go to the King's Head. It's the ideal place for a rest and a cheeky pint on the way back from the beach.
Great food, excellent ales, kid and dog friendly (the pub, not the ales) and a wonderful athmosphere. We were there Bank Holiday Monday and it was ram-o, but retained the charm and atmosphere we know and love.
Stayed for 2 nights was amazing. Took my partners nan who hasn't been back for 15 years. We had the best time weather was good food was lovely and staff was so friendly. It was lovely to have a walk down memory lane with nan hearing all the stories of the times she had visited this beautiful place. Deal is beautiful and I would recommend to anyone.
We have had a lovely weekend, the food was lovely it is so nice being able to bring our dog Charlie. He was so good sat under the table while we ate. The fish dishes are really good. Staff are so friendly and helpful even found a safe place for my mobility scooter. The only down side is the lack of parking really but the inconvenience caused is still worth it. Would defo recommend a stay.
The best risotto ever tasted. Full of flavour, good size portion and the chorizo and chicken in it was plentiful. You usually hunt for the meat. Superb. I actually asked for my compliments were passed to the chef.
'The Kings Head' Deal. A delightful pub with a beautiful frontage of hanging baskets full of beautiful well attended blooms. Outdoor seating and dog friendly with views of the promenade and the sea. Excellent service, food delicious, polite attentive staff. Would highly recommend this Pub when in Deal.
Excellent rooms and customer relations with a great menu and the best of it was the served a decent pint
Lovely pub , very pretty outside , great pub food , good helpings , nice staff ,
Lovely pub couldn’t fault anything .We stayed in the guest house with a Seaview , room was spotless decor beautiful .
Breakfast was a wide choice .
The Artist in the pub was one we would definitely go again for .A amazing stay in Deal .
Top notch pub and guest house experience. Great food and cask ale selection. Pub filled with lively locals and guests. We watched an England World Cup match, sang and toasted until late into the evening and left feeling like we made new friends in Deal.
Impromptu visit, lovely traditional pub (dislike chains) with twinkly lights and fresh flowers on the tables. We had fish and chips which was piping hot and crispy, lovely! Have been before for Sunday roast out in the sunshine, highly recommended
The service is excellent! Staff are so friendly, food is wonderful and the atmosphere is buzzing, live music was amazing xx
this was one of my favorite places on our 2 week trip to UK. The inn is fantastic with very modern and clean facilities. The food is wonderful as well. I highly recommend this place. We loved it!!
What a great place great beer great surroundings polite staff
Picturesque pub, overlooking the seaside. They have a super gin menu, and the prices are very reasonable. Great place to spend a few hours with friends or family.
Great Seafront Pub. Great food. Great staff. Food extremely good. During summer months there is a fantastic seating terrace outside overlooking the beach and Deal pier. Sunday roasts are very well presented. Get in early though as it gets very busy!!
We have stayed at the Kings Head many times over the years during our trips to Deal, and couldn't imagine staying anywhere else! We stayed again for two nights this year in August.
Graham and all the staff are lovely, welcoming and really good at what they do. Our room was just what we needed, and the breakfast was perfect. There is such a lovely atmosphere to the place, and the location couldn't be better. We will definitely be back again! (Also, don't miss out on the amazing crab sandwich)
This is quite possibly the greatest pub in the UK. The manager really looked after our family and the food was incredible, including desserts. Friendly staff, awesome interior and atmosphere - highly recommend The King’s Head!!
I can't comment on the rooms, we only ate here. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The guest ale good. We all chose different things to eat including two vegetarian dishes, and they were all very good. Lovely location by the seafront if the weather is good.
This place was super busy with a band on when we came, sunny and such a good atmosphere. Service was also great.
We ordered some small side plates for nibbles and they came out HUGE! Thank you for having us
Had the most amazing stay with Shirley, Graham and James.
All the staff at the King’s Head were so professional, friendly, helpful and kind, especially Rhea.
Shirley and Graham are fabulous people and will go out of their way
to make you feel at home and part of the family.
We stayed at Channel View, which is part of the King’s Head and the room was exceptional, clean, spacious with en suite bathroom and the views from the room were fabulous….My husband and I will definitely return in the future.
Ate here on a weekend. Good traditional food with ham, egg and chips going down very well. The family had the burger and fries, also a great choice. One thing to watch out for is how busy it does get, so either eat early, or be prepared to wait a short while taking in the sites and sounds
Have been visiting Kings Head for over 40 years it never fails to impress. Just a lovely place to stay and enjoy being so close to the sea. Looking forward to my next visit.
I haven't been a hotel customer, just a restaurant. But i need to say food is absolutely amazing, fresh, tasty, delicious! That was the best dish I had an honour to have during my short stay in Deal. It's definitely worth trying their food. Hopefully, I will be back !
Great place to eat and enjoy the seaside in Deal. The hotel has great atmosphere and impressive collection of old cricket gear. I am envious of their hanging baskets. Meals are excellent pub food.
Used to he a bit of a regular here but moved away a few years ago. Now work finds me in this area again. Always welcoming, great staff and, in the summer, a great place to enjoy a pint or two. Love this pub and what a great display of flowers.
We have been here twice now as it was a lovely place to eat. Both times the food was so good and staff very friendly.
I grew up in Deal in 80s/90s and worked for Graham when I was in my late teens. Went back 30 years later to find that ostensibly the feel is exactly the same as it ever was. Low lit, wonderful authentic pub feel. The layout and tables are exactly the same. And lovely food and service. Graham is every bit as warm and friendly as the pub he has run what seems like forever. What's even more telling is that anyone I speak to about their visits to Deal always remark about 'that pub with all the lovely flowers and tables out the front'. Graham has created a focal point that all visitors remember and love.
We had a lovely stay for my wife’s birthday, everything about this place is spot on, we will definitely be returning. Mark & Diane. X
Perfect location in Deal. Really cozy pub inside at night and great space outside when it’s nice in the day.
Stopped by for drinks, live band outside was fab. The staff were very pleasant and very knowledgeable with drinks. Very clean. The food we saw looked very appetising.
Went for dinner and was good, it's a busy pub and space is limited inside. Staff were ok and the locals very friendly as was Monty the black Labrador. Would recommend to anyone.
Had a nice beer and tasty food! Good place near the seaside! Great pub, very nice and flowery decorated!
Vibrant pub. Reasonably priced very nice food. The Steak amd Stilton pie was to die for. Burger was excellent as well. Shepherd Neame ales a bit limited but well kept.
Would have been five stars but three TV screens showing three different matches was a bit much for me. Still recommended.
