The food here is incredible, simple yet inventive. I enjoyed every single mouthful of my Moroccan beans on toast - it was the perfect portion size too. I was sad to have finished it when I did, it was so tasty.
The coffee is really well made as well, much better and to a much higher standard than a lot of other places in the area.
Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the staff are exceptional people, so sweet and kind and approachable and helpful. Every interaction I saw them have with other customers was positive and they seemed genuinely happy to go above and beyond to help.
You can really tell that the people who run this business take pride in the quality of food, drinks and service they provide. The atmosphere is really lovely and it's become my favourite place for lunch in Deal.
Good spot in Deal town for breakfast. I had the cheese toastie which was tasty and I really enjoyed the breakfast smoothie.
A lovely cafe, sourdough is all freshly made in house and the brunch was delicious. Good coffee and friendly service too.
Nicely prepared food with friendly service. The veggie and vegan friendly menu stars a lovely sourdough bread. Perhaps "pop-up" refers to toast-based menu? - But there are lots of other options. It's great to to find Kimchi and homemade pickles also. All very well done.
A good day in Deal starts with a GOOOOD Breakfast, really like the taste of the food and the quality ingredients made a difference, Sourdough bread was my favourite .
,a pop café that worth visiting, staff was super friendly and offered us tips on the surrounding.
We had a late lunch after a wander at the beach and really enjoyed our visit. The homemade lemonade was a winner, food was served quickly and all really tasty. The salad bowl had a lovely mix of veggies, grains and flavours.
If you’re looking for somewhere to get a great coffee and a bite to eat in Deal, I’d suggest you make the Pop Up Cafe your first port of call.
The staff are all very friendly and helpful, the coffee is incredible, and the chocolate chai was out of this world.
Between us, my girlfriend and I had a Kim-Cheese Toastie & an Empress Toastie with additional harissa. They were incredible.
It was our first time in Deal, but this place has guaranteed that we will return.
Highly recommended - staff welcoming and friendly.
Menu covers beverages, lunches, snacks and lovely sweet treats. We sampled the cheese scone and brownie with hot drinks.
Great quality produce with varied dietary needs catered for.
Certainly beats the High St branded franchises - support local businesses.
So glad to see a place in Deal making Good batch brew! I had the washed Rwanda- mouth watering!
One thing that could be a nicer experience is sitting in. Not enough to lose a star but service can feel a little rushed and confused.
Other than that, definitely high in my top 3 coffee places in deal
Very pleasant staff, great tasting coffee and the beetroot and ginger cake was delicious. There was a queue to be seated whilst Costa and Starbucks were almost empty and I understand why
Perfect spot for a relaxed breakfast with superb coffee and friendly staff.
Quality vegetarian coffee shop, high quality coffee and food while containing no meat with vegan options available. While quite expensive the quality does make it enjoyable while being in a prime location a mere 5 minutes from the train station. They also provide a range of not coffee based drinks and seem to promote healthy products while also having a friendly and welcoming atmosphere inside while sourcing local high quality ingredients
Lovely food and great speedy service - the only reason it's not five star is that I would expect a few more options on the menu - particularly for younger kids. But otherwise it's fab!
The best chai tea in Deal (as we were searching for one like Chai Guys, with a masala kick). The toast & marmalade (oh my!) was delish. Service friendly and helpful. We’ll be back.
They have the best almond croissant around.
Friendly staff, lovely bright relaxed space. Incredible salad bowl (in the photo) and vegan brunch, both with gorgeous crusty homemade sourdough. Also serves local craft beer and great selection of teas. Loved it.

Of all my 100's of reviews, I have rarely given anywhere 5*+. But this Pop Up Cafe is well deserving of high ratings and high recommendation if visiting Deal.
We ordered 2 big breakfasts which didn't sound like the normal 'english breakfast' served. On top of a homemade slice of toasted brown bread, is loaded with a generous portion of light fluffly scrambled eggs perfectly cooked, grilled chorizo which was not greasy at all, light bacon that didn't have oil dripping from it, smooth serving of avocado, roasted butternut squash which was incredibly flavoursome, a piece of grilled halloumi topped off with some sort of chilli flaked sauce and light spicy seasoning almost like nutty paprika. The entire dish was devine, everything complimented each other perfectly.
Lots of seating available, selection of teas, coffees and lots of homemade baked bread, cakes and scones! I bought 2 different scones as I couldn't decide and both were just beautifully delicious with jam and cream! I'm usually the person who is very critical of quality reflecting price, and of course who doesn't like a cheap steal - However even though I wouldn't put this on the value end for a cafe/breakfast, it was definitely worth the quality and overall experience. No wonder this 'pop up' cafe is now a permanent asset to Deal.
Thank you for having us.
A lovely little coffee shop which we ended up coming to twice on our short trip to deal. Excellent tea and cakes served by very friendly staff. Atmosphere was relaxed and a lovely place to sit for the afternoon watching people go by!
Interesting selection of vege/vegan snacks. Enjoyed my kimchi cheese toastie. Friendly, efficient service.
