I have been several times and have never been disappointed. We recently were lucky enough to have the Indian menu which was superb, especially the Indian style fish and chips! Would definitely recommend the Dining Club to anyone who enjoys high quality food and a friendly atmosphere. Thanks Suzanne and Scotty for a guaranteed good night out every time!

The Dining Club is a minor miracle created in a compact town house in the heart of Deal. We took over the whole place and filled it with friends and family for a celebration event. Suzanne helped us chose a menu that had all of our favourite fishy things. The chef even managed to whip up a no-dairy menu for one. Being able to bring your own wine is a huge bonus. The food is excellent value and really delicious. Particularly outstanding was the bouillabaise and main dish of whiting. All in all a wonderfully civilised evening. The joy of the Dining Club is that the menu is different every time. So if you read carefully you'll know what you're getting. You may not love everything but there are always inventive vegetarian options too. Portions are not huge, but that's a good thing. There's plenty to eat and it's all delicious. Take a chance and I'm sure you'll be back for more. I know we will. Brian

Amazing food and Scott and Suzanne are lovely. We hired the whole venue the night before our wedding for a big family meal and everyone was blown away by the quality of the food and the beautiful decor. They also provided the canapés on the day which were delicious. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Our first visit , certainly not our last . The Padstow menu was perfect. Worth the drive from Portsmouth . A jewel in Deal's crown .

We live locally and have been quite a few times. Obviously food is the main thing and it's fantastic. Really interesting too. But I think the point to note is it's such a different experience from a standard restaurant. Like having a chef's taster menu, lots of small courses and you choose to go on a night where the menu is up your street. Really though, the fun is having dishes cooked and brought to you that you might not have chosen. It's so interesting trying new combinations . You feel exceptionally well looked after throughout. A bit like going to a really good chef's house for a dinner party I suppose. Very reasonable for what it is and the hard work that's gone in to every menu. Do yourself a favour, get a list of menus, choose a night that suits you, and have a wonderful treat of an evening.

This place is amazing! Wasn't sure what to expect, but the staff were very attentive, and the food was delicious. Even though it's being your own booze, the service that is offered to accommodate your needs is excellent. Would definitely recommend becoming a member.

Had a lovely Saturday night dinner here at end of January - imaginative dishes (first mouthfuls were duck and cherry sausage..delicious) brilliantly executed. Vegetarian and dietary needs catered for with care. Lovely balanced menu, personal, attentive, efficient service.... it's another winner dinner!

Wow, just wow! I absolutely loved my experience at Dining Club. Such a warm, welcoming restaurant with food that I have been thinking about since my visit (Scottie’s dishes have even inspired me to try making his dinners myself) If you’re looking for a dining experience to remember, with a fresh, delicious menu that changes with the seasons then I highly recommend 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Christmas celebration with friends from a local micro pub so occupied all tables over 3 floors of the restaurant. Delicious food (preselected) impeccably presented and served, rooms tastefully decorated for Christmas. No alcohol licence, so reasonable corkage charged. Overall, excellent evening, and would love to join as a member for 2023. Hope to visit again soon!

Loved it here. Great little place & lovely food. Went back this weekend & our love of this place has only increased. Everyone eats the same at the same time. £2 per person for corkage as you take your own booze. You don't have to be a member to eat here. Costs vary depending on the menu but is about £30 per head. Worth every penny. Optional £10 cheeseboard at the end...yes please! A must if you are staying in Deal at s weekend.

Omg. The Dining Club is without doubt one of the best places to eat in the South East. Scotty is a brilliant chef not afraid to try different thng each week. Due to lockdown the last time we visited was 2019 but Scotty and team didn't disappoint with the Mexican banquet. Service is impeccable and I wish the Dining Club was in my home town of horsham. Thank you Suzanne, Scotty and team for another brilliant night

An amazing local members club which serves a wide variety of amazing themed menus allowing you to pick and choose when you want to dine. I've been twice now, once on a Mexican themed evening, the other a wonderful local fish menu. You bring your own booze and you are guaranteed to meet the local community, make friends and dine out on the best food for miles around. Also other treats for members include bread making courses, fishing trips and shooting events. I love this place!

It is a unique restaurant. You have to be a member to book. Dinners generally take place based upon a themed set 5 course menu every Friday and Saturday evening's. Additionally once a month or so for Sunday lunch, and also for a weekday tea and perhaps a Tuesday informal supper club. Great food and great vegetarian options always available. Scotty the Chef has a great palate. Could not recommend more highly for food, quality or the friendly welcome.
