Welcome Family Holiday Park is indeed a fantastic place for everyone, especially families with little ones! 😄 The only downside I see is the prices in the clubhouse and the queue situation. It's understandable that people get excited for the amazing entertainment, but it's not fair when about 50 peo
We've been coming to the Welcome for over 30 years, and it's worth travelling from Scotland so it has to be worth such a long journey. The accommodation is always clean. The bungalows are spacious and have outside seating. The entertainment at night is superb. Mark Price puts together amazing show
A very nice holiday park located about 10 minutes from the beach and Dawlish.
Usual beach side shops selling souvenirs and a few takeaways nearby. Mostly fish and chips.
A fair near the beach offers a few rides and mini golf and an amusement arcade which was fun.
The park itself had a few basic faci
The park was well maintained, the accommodation spotless and the entertainment brilliant. The only negative when trying to enjoy the entertainment in the Starlight Club were the people who were talking to, no shouting at, one another, despite the request of the staff to keep the noise down. This wou
I'm a regular at this holiday park. Always bring my dog as it's so dog friendly. All the shops in the vicinity allow your pooch so you don't need to leave them at the caravan. The clubhouse don't allow dogs but this isn't an issue for me as I don't use it but many families say it would be nice to ha
I've been coming here since I was a kid, approximately over 20 years, every year. I've always enjoyed my stay here.
I always brought my dog here and this year brought my 1 year old here for her first proper holiday and she seems to be happy to stay here.
Bakery just over the road is always a place m
Easy layout of the caravan park in a fantastic location. Friendly and welcoming staff then arrived at reasonable prices on food and drinks. Accommodation was clean and tidy but could sense dog in the caravan with fur on the floor even though it was a dog free caravan. Park was always neat, tidy, and
I didn't stay here and only visited family who were on holiday, it looks a great place to stay. The variety of accommodation is plentiful and on a clean well looked after site. Great location and somewhere I'd be considering going in the future. Can't comment on the clubhouse and services received b
Absolutely love this place, it is our family favourite the best place in the world a proper home away from home. Been coming here for 30+ years, from the staff at reception to the bar staff to the entertainment team and all the staff in between really do make the experience amazing and it is always
Fab entertainment, some talented entertainers!! Lovely kept site. Great location. Food is lovely and reasonable. Loved the free golf too. Would definitely come again!!
All good.
We stayed in a private letting but we were still made to feel part of the park.
It was a very well maintained place and my dog loved chasing the bunny hops.
Will be back!
Just came back from a wonderful 1 week holiday at Welcome. First time we've been back for 6 years!
The park is always clean and tidy, and our caravan was lovely ( there were a few ants, but not infested.. ants are normal on the park, so wasn't an issue ).
The entertainment in The Starlight Club was
I rented an old dog friendly static for the wkend and was pleasantly surprised at the condition of it. £160 +£25 for the dog was in my opinion good value the van had everything you need and you collect your clean linen from reception when you check-in. There is sachets of tea, coffee, sugar and milk
Many wonderful childhood memories there, It's a fantastic family holiday park, with on site swimming pool, amusements, kids park and lots of activities to take part in, in Dawlish warren, sadly my mum passed there 12 years ago, but my brother and myself continue to now take our children here.
